Gorgeous location on the Guadalupe River. Beautiful view of the River from the property. Quiet location. Beautiful rooms. Friendly, hospitable staff. I enjoyed my stay immensely and will be back!

Cozy retreat
The room was clean and the bathroom in the Texan was great. Lots of counter space and a great shower. Bed was very comfortable. Beautiful view of the Guadalupe River. Landscaping was great (except for the plastic flowers.) Common area well stocked for morning breakfast. I would highly recommend this Inn!

We are so glad you enjoyed our property. We aren’t the biggest fan of the faux flowers either but after the deer cleaned out our flowerbeds 4 times last spring, we had to find an alternative!

Amazing. Stress free!
We were very happy when we arrived. It was quite, clean and peaceful. Wonderful location and amazing view. I could feel the stress of work and traveling subside the minute we walked in. I will be staying here again and again.

This was a great place to stay We loved the deck area Breakfast options were exceptional Everything was clean and new looking I would add some lamps in the living area as it’s either dark or very bright. Maybe add one small comfortable chair as the couch only seats 3

Your text at departure said you had a great stay and enjoyed the property as a repeat guest. I can only guess this low review is due to the smoking fine incurred due to finding cigarette ashes in your room.We apologize for any inconvenience this caused but we have a strict non smoking policy on property which is stated in confirmation emails when booking.

Always a great stay and location. Stayed in the Texan room, spacious with great shower. Breakfast is Continental but there were a lot of selections to fit anyones needs.

Love this inn on the river!
It was fantastic! It is a quaint and charming inn on the river, the continental breakfast exceeds expectations - it is not your run of the mill continental breakfast. We ordered a custom gift basket for a friends room and they delivered on that as well. Very pleased!

Great place to stay. Very close to Greune hall, Rocking R. Accommodations were great. Plenty of snacks, small breakfast items and drinks available. We had a comfortable king size bed in a nice spacious room with a extra sunroom for morning coffee. If I had to nit pick about anything it would be the shower. The shower head sprays and probably needs to be replaced. It’s the only negative opinion I have. 👍

I enjoyed staying at lambs rest becuase of the proximaty to Gruene. The inn offered free snacks, breakfast foods, and drinks. The scenery was nice too.

Almost a 10
Was pleasantly surprised with this place. Room was comfortable and quiet, location was close to Gruene and New Braunfels. It’s a very nice set up and we enjoyed the River view and the hot tub. My only complaint is the breakfast setup. I know they said it was grab and go but the only choices were all packaged highly processed sugar loaded foods. It would’ve been nice to have one fresh baked item set out at least or a bag of bagels or bread or anything. I’ve been to several B&Bs during Covid and they are all serving a hot breakfast for their guests daily. Other than that we enjoyed the place a lot!

My Husband and I spent the weekend here to celebrate our 15 year anniversary. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The property is well kept and the scenery is beautiful. The best B&B you could ever go to, highly recommend!!!

I miss having the cooked breakfast but they had lots of items available to grab for quick breakfast. It is such a relaxing place to visit and look at the river.

This is our 2nd time here. It’s serene and just relaxing. I enjoyed floating in the river without the rowdy crowds in other parts of the river. The room was clean but the bed was a little soft. Loved the selection of COVID safe breakfast.

I loved the breakfast they had out(very smart about covid). It was super nice being located so close to Gruene, we loved the little town, and are also really considering moving around Gruene. Will definitely come back and visit again. No complaints

Our stay here was wonderful relaxing and enjoyable. The room and the guest areas are very quaint. We especially enjoyed sitting on the ducks down by the river. We can’t wait to come back and stay again.

The place was very clean. We had access to the river even though all the public accesses were closed due to COVID so it was like having the river to ourselves. It was very peaceful and relaxing stay. It was perfectly located close to other small towns so a day trip to Wimberly was easy to do and a very lovely drive. We saw a caretaker briefly each morning but there was no real contact.

Charming B&B
It is a beautiful property with old fashioned b&b charm. Due to COVID-19 thé breakfast was only grab and go. 5-10 minute drive to just about anything you want to do. Easy river access on site and nice sized pool. The room (Cottage) was cute with a private balcony and the bed/robes were all very nice.

we love this place can't wait to go back it's like our own personal garden of eden. Don't plan on watching TV though the cable is super basic. overall we loved it!
