Great location, great staff, okay maintance

Stayed here because my sister had a baby. The location was great. The hospital was minutes away, great restaurants near by and shopping. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was okay. My only complaint is that there were no towels in our room and it took awhile to get a hold of someone at the front desk. Also I didnt know how to control the AC. When it would go on it would get really cold in the room but when it would go off i would start sweating. I had to leave earlier than expected because I got really sick and I wad traveling alone with my toddler. There were also sooo many mosquitos everywhere. I got 7 mosquito bites waiting for the elevator.

Girl trip

Pros: Location and indoor pool.
Cons: Lighting in parking lot.
A group of 5 ladies traveled to New Braunfels for fun and seeing the wildflowers.The Wingate was in a great location-near all the highways, shopping and dining that made our stay very convenient. The indoor pool & hot tub were well maintained. The continental breakfast had a nice selection and a large dining area with plenty of seating. The hotel staff was very friendly and met all our requests.

Best hotel breakfast. Room needed upgrading as carpet was stained, but overall good price for the value

Very spacious king room. Only complaint was the fridge really didn't get cold enough and the hubs didn't like the pillows. Overall, good hotel. Would stay here again.

Ac wasn’t working, pillows hard, had no extra blankets, loud tenants up all night. Discussed with manager did not care. Horrible customer service. I travel 4 days a week will report to corporate never use Wyndham absolutely horrific. Always do Marriott, Hilton thr best horrific experience. Do NOT book ever

Overpriced and lackluster

Disappointed in the Wyndham brand with this location. Lobby was clean yet spartan, the room, however, was showing signs of wear, despite being a new hotel, especially in the restroom. The room emttted a strong odor. Won´t be staying here again.
