Nice hotel near Chitose station

Posted Nov 22, 2017
I have stayed here three times on business trips in different seasons and love the access. It is a four minute walk from the station to get to Sapporo, three minute walk to an Aeon shopping mall, and many restaurants in walking distance. The hotel staff is great, a wonderful breakfast, and onsen to end/begin the days.... Would stay there again!!!

Clean and Comfortable

Posted Nov 19, 2017
Pros: Great price, good location and clean. The onsen was a nice bonus.
Location: Lots of restaurants and Aeon mall within walking distance.
Route-Inn Chitose Ekimae is a clean and comfortable hotel close to the train station in Chitose, two stops from the New Chitose Airport and short ride to central Sapporo. The rooms are basic, but comfortable. Loved the high pressure shower and Shiseido body wash and shampoos. Breakfast is the only meal served in the hotel. It was buffet style. Mainly Japanese style breakfast - plentiful and very tasty. Many restaurants within a couple blocks. Aeon Mall is also close. Added bonus - hotel has on-site onsen! Highly recommend as a viable alternative to higher priced hotels in Sapporo.

Convenient location for a short stay.

The hotel is in close proximity to the train station and easy to locate. Meals are easily available at a mall nearby. Hotel facility is clean with all expected amenities. Room is of reasonable size and the public onsen within the hotel is a plus, especially given the cold weather.

Fair Hotel

Posted Aug 24, 2017
Pros: It has hot springs and the size is bigger that hotels with about the same price.
Cons: Make sure room don't have smoking smell. Replace the old bed sheet, blanket, etc.
Location: Convenient to stay over night to catch flights in CTS and walk to Chitose station.
Blanket has stained on top although it looks like it is being washed. We stayed there 2 nights and we have either smoking and non-smoking rooms but both have strong smoking smell. Morning has shuttle service to airport and this is great. It is about 5 mins walk from Chitose station. Staff service is great. Breakfast is pretty good. Overall I would say is a fair hotel.

Close to Airport

Posted Aug 3, 2017 on Hotels
Very friendly & accommodating staff. Room size is typical of a Japanese business style hotel. It is probably better suited for travelers or couples with little or no luggage. Nice breakfast buffet with both Japanese & Western cuisine. Lots of parking on site. Quick drive to the airport (New Chitose). Would give hotel a higher overall score if rooms were updated - decor is older and should be refurbished.

business hotel near the JR station

Normal hotel but quite expensive. The location near the station didn't to our advantage because we were driving. There was one mall nearby.

Decent hotel

About 10 minutes drive from the airport, this is a good stop after or before a flight. Room was basic with a mattress too hard, but staff was kind.

Very convenient to Airport

Posted Feb 12, 2017
Pros: Proximity to train station and airport, and the airport shuttle
Cons: Breakfast could be served earlier to accommodate early morning travelers. There were at least 10 on our shuttle, and we left before the buffet opened.
Location: Location is easy to see from train station, and is one stop from the airport. also has an airport shuttle.
A nice business hotel very close to station and close to airport, with an airport shuttle. Twin room was a bit larger than standard Japanese, and had beds, not tatami futons on the floor. The beds were very, very hard, as are most Japanese "beds". More like futons up on a box spring. Checkin & checkout were efficient. Overall, a pleasant stay.
