The price that we paid for our room at The Manor did not come close to the quality that you would expect for that price. Our room was very dated, there was virtually no water pressure in the shower and it took over 10mins for the water to heat up, the hairdryer didn't work, there were no spare power points in the room for charging our devices and the wifi constantly cut out. On top of that, there were 2 small windows in the room that looked directly onto a common terrace so we had to keep the blinds drawn the whole time, leaving us trapped in a virtually windowless box. When we expressed our disappointment at the condition of our room, they sent the maintenance team to fix the shower which was deemed fixed once the water had heated up - the water pressure remained unchanged. And we were sent a portable wifi connection which also did not work. According to the hotel information printed in the room, the hotel has 14 newly renovated rooms. We were placed in room #16, which very clearly has not been renovated or even updated in some time. The photos of a "standard room" published on Expedia absolutely do not match the quality of the room we were allocated. And given how much money we paid for our standard room, I am disgusted that this type of catfishing is allowed on this platform. I have stayed in many, many hotels in Delhi over the past 7 years, of varying quality, and this is by far one of the worst experiences I have had, that we even departed early and stayed elsewhere.

Weekend getaway in cozy privacy
Charming property with cozy rooms. We booked the room with a terrace. The bed was really comfortable. No gym or pool but the gardens provided a beautiful back drop to just chill and relax.

Loved the setting and concept. It’s a boutique hotel in the middle of a residential area. Very calm and quiet property and the surrounding area appeared posh and safe. The breakfast was pretty good and flavorful. The owner comes and meets all guests in person and collects feedback which is great to see. Now to the cons. Our room had a leaking flush knob and didn’t got fixed while we were there as it needed some extensive repair work per the manager. Something for the staff to look into before giving out the rooms to guests. The room also had very less electrical wall sockets which made charging phones very difficult. The location of the hotel is also a bit of a con as it’s within a residential colony and getting public transportation is difficult. Ola and uber drivers would often cancel the trip. Overall a pleasant experience and would definitely recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful stay in Delhi.

We had a wonderful stay at the Manor. The property is impeccably maintained, the rooms are spacious and well appointed, and food at Camilo’s is quite good. This hotel is ideal for anyone looking for a more quiet and intimate hotel option. The owner is around to help in any way as well.

Our stay was very brief, but the staff was very accommodating. We had a 12 hour layover between several long flights so we checked in her in the middle of the night to get some sleep and have breakfast before shuttling back to the airport. Breakfast area was a beautiful outdoor dining experience. The room and shower was very neat and clean. We wish we could have stayed for longer!

Oasis in the City
This beautiful boutique hotel is worth staying at for the service alone! I was kindly waited on throughout my stay, and the hospitality is one I'll always remember. I felt right at home! The hotel is a beautiful oasis in South Delhi, perfect for those who crave a retreat from city life.

Lovely bungalow with a lawn and greenery all around. Large rooms with good interior design elements. Cute cafe with a Mediterranean feel...they had the best fresh pressed juices. Coffee maker in the room was a plus. Very quiet and peaceful stay. Overall it has a resort-like feel.

Superb property with, unfortunately, 2 big negativ
The property is lovely. It has 2 negatives. First, no bar. If you wish to have a drink with your meal, you have to have your meal served in your room and use the room service. Unfortunately, this was not advertised on the booking site. Second, the hotel is in a lovely area of Friends' Colony. However, it seems to be very difficult for Uber drivers to find. 50% of all my Uber rides were cancelled by the drivers as they were unable to find the hotel. Other than that, it was superb.

perfect Delhi getaway
The location was fantastic. Close enough to get to interesting parts of town within 30 min by Tuk tuk and far enough away from hustle and bustle. It was in a very safe neighborhood with security. The staff were amazing, so friendly and trying to help in every way. The rooms were incredibly comfortable. There is an underground train that you can feel in the early mornings, but also, you’re in Delhi, it’s never going to be complete silence. Food was delicious although definitely the higher end prices as you would expect in a hotel.

Amazing stay!
Our stay at The Manor was amazing! Service was impeccable, staff always attentive to our needs and always went out of their way to ensure we are comfortable and settled. Our first room had a faulty shower head, and almost immediately we got an upgrade to their signature suite which was top notch. The original deluxe room we had could have had a bit of refurbishment, as the it felt a bit dark and it did not seem as comfortable as their other suites. Breakfast was delicious. Location is a bit of a distance in a nice neighbourhood (20-30 mins on Uber to sights) but we very much appreciated the quiet surroundings after a day being out and about in Delhi. Thank you very much to the team who was at hand during our stay and we will no doubt book here again for our next visit!

Property pretty quiet. Good service. Pleasant clean rooms and courteous staff. If not careful, shower floods bathroom floor. Moderately difficult for taxis to find, including Uber; tell doorman when you order a taxi/Uber to facilitate connection.

Exquisitely elegant
This is one of the most elegant properties I have been to in India. Actually, the most elegant. It is exquisitely designed, with an understated elegance that sets it apart from its competitors. I felt like I was living inside an Elle Decor feature! The natural stones used throughout the hotel are magnificent. The property is surrounded by a beautiful garden, the food was excellent, and the staff polite and charming. Highly recommend! (P.S. The Manor is in a quiet residential neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I appreciated that, but some may not).

Hotel was amazing and level of service was incredible. Location is ok - most places in New Delhi require a taxi/tuk tuk anyway. One minor set back was when we checked out and left our bags with the hotel staff to put in storage, they had left it in the corner of the lobby all day - not a major problem because our bags were locked.

Surprisingly lovely hotel
We booked the Manor Room through Expedia and did have a little trouble initially. The photos of the rooms on the site are not the same as at the hotel. Apparently not all Manor Rooms have the bathtub as advertised on Expedia . That was the whole reason we booked the room to begin with, as after a long voyage through India we were looking forward to some nice bubblebaths and relaxation. After a bit of back and forth, I was able to secure the room I wanted, though only after being offered an upgrade instead. I did have to contact Expedia to help rectify the situation. However, after all of that, I was pleased to stay at the hotel. The grounds are fabulous and comfortable. Really well designed hotel. The spa is surprising. What a great facility, and they comped us both a free head massage. There's a fabulous gym with group classes and personal instructors available. The restaurant is exquisite. We tried the chef's tasting menu on our first night and were blown away. It's not something I'd suggest for every night, because something that special might lose its magic if done too often. The neighborhood is residential, so there are no other restaurants in the general area. But we were really happy with the service and all the attention. I'll definitely be returning.

Our three children and we stayed for 4 days The staff was credibly helpful and very knowledgeable. It was our first trip to India and they helped us fill our calendar by providing recommendations on sites to visit. The hotel's restaurant had a very good breakfast and, unbeknownst to us, was the number one rated restaurant in Delhi for dinner. We loved the experience!

Lovely Hotel
The Manor is a lovely quiet oasis in the heart of Delhi. Phenomenal food at their Restaurant Indian Accent. Good service and comfortable rooms, quality of linens could be higher and the pillows were a bit lacking but other than that very few complaints.

A hidden Gem. Get in on this before others.
Phenomenal Value. I practically just stumbled on this, and have resolved to only, and only stay at "the manor" on all my trips to delhi. For a fair price, you get - a massive room - old world charm - Indian hospitality - Michelin star food - Free Spa (15 min) - what more can a traveler ask. The only issue, no Free wifi. I can live with that.

Wonderful hotel in Delhi
What a wonderl find. Hotel is in a secluded neighborhood. Quiet and safe. Hotel can arrange a driver for you. Reqest Rahul Kumar, excellent driver and knows all the important sites. Because of him we saw everything in three days. Hotel has a great staff, professional and friendly. I highly recommend this lovely hotel.
