We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful property. The staff made you feel right at home from the moment we arrived to when we left. Big shout out to Murray for the care and chats. The homely, luxurious and spacious rooms and main building were perfect for our weekend away together, and walkable to New Farm, Valley Shopping, the river and DBC as well as the Howard Smith Wharves precinct. Highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

I enjoyed our stay. Suggestions: 1. I do not understand why you don't have the larger Nespresso machine which uses the larger capsules and can provide a larger cup of coffee 2. the coffee capsules were not topped up each day 3. Water pressure in shower was poor

We had just such a lovely stay sadly only for one night at this gem of a hotel. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful from start to finish. The food is amazing, we dined there in the evening. Go for the breakfast which was included in our stay, it’s fantastic! You may feel you’re out of the city but everything is much near than you think. Great rooftop bar to watch the sunset to end the day!

We liked the fact that it was close to cafes and restaurants in New Farm. Felt the room was too dark and the bathroom / toilet had no door , only a shower curtain separating the bed from the bathroom/toilet . No privacy !

The property was well located in New Farm. The room was spacious and clean and the bed super comfortable. Staff were friendly and overall there was a lovely atmosphere.

We thought the room for a 5* hotel was small. Some of the appliances had parts missing and rendered their use difficult. The TV remote was really cumbersome and with no printed instructions impossible to use.

Absolutely brilliant
Absolutely brilliant. Such a lovely place to stay, The staff were amazing and nothing was a hassle.The room was small but absolutely beautiful and clean. Upstairs little rooftop bar was lovely to have a couple of drinks while the sunset. Thanks so much to the team for a lovely night away.

Great room but located in noisy part of hotel.
I got a good rate online, but that meant I was put in the room next to the stairs and entrance and kitchen. Very noisy all afternoon and very early in the morning. I don’t recommend staying in room 7!

Great spot for us on the edge of the cbd without having to fight the traffic when coming from the airport, free parking sealed the deal. We were able to walk to Felons by the bridge to meet our friends, brilliant. Good sized room in an old converted colonial mansion with more character than a bland modern hotel. Friendly checkin and helpful staff. Would definitely go again!
