Probably not the worst, but far from the best

Firstly, I am annoyed with Expedia. I punched in where I'd be visiting, and they directed me to this hotel, which was more than 20 miles from my destination. Granted, hotels choices are limited, but I drove past at least a half-dozen other hotels on my way to this one.
Upon arriving, the clerk didn't know how to use the computer, so she just gave me a room key (without checking my ID) and told me to come back and fill out a "Reg Card" tomorrow.
The bathroom was beyond filthy. There was fecal matter and pubic hair in and on the commode, with similar hairs on the counter. Even after they came to clean it, we didn't bother using it (so, at least it was clean for the next person, I suppose).
The complimentary breakfast was out of batter for the waffle maker, syrup and orange juice 5 minutes after it opened.
Not only would I not suggest this hotel, I'd probably avoid this chain in it's entirety.
