Hallway is scary and smells like smoke and body Oder. Inside is fine but bedding is kinda outdated and cold and not super clean but honestly the room itself isn't terrible.

I was able to get a room here at the last minute and the staff were able to accomodate my late arrival/checkout. The first floor rooms are outside-facing for easy access, and I was on the second floor in a quiet indoor hallway. I didn't notice anything awry, and slept peacefully despite being on a major road. A great experience for what it's worth!

No frills
No frills hotel on busy street. Short drive to Space Ballroom in Hamden. Hotel fire alarms went off at 4:50 AM for about 30 seconds! TV wouldn’t turn on. Bathroom door was missing knob, just a big hole in door where knob should be.

Although the price is great and the room was clean, I would never stay here again. I mistakenly left behind my coat and initially when I contacted the Inn they told me they had the coat and to call the following Monday to speak with the manager. After several calls it was clear my coat was not being returned.

Over priced for what it is. Loud people at after midnight. Large water stain in bathroom ceiling. The outside is drab and worn, could use a coat of paint and some TLC. The carpet is threadbare and the odor in the hallway upstairs was borderline unpleasant. Bed was comfortable and clean, water pressure was ok, The towels are old and scratchy. The air conditioner struggled mightily. Only booked there because of a lack of Marriott Bonvoy around the area. Will not go back.

Room is big and clean. Staff is friendly. However, the facilities need some repairing. My door did not have a safety latch - it had clearly fallen off because the holes are on the door. This is not safe for a single woman travelling. My bathroom door had not lock or door knobs. If you are a big young man, it might be fine. As a woman, I did not feel safe.

This property is a combination of old school motel format (1 story, park in front of your door) and some newer 2nd floor large "Executive" rooms. We got a Lg King non-smoking Exec Rm (some are smoking) with an opening window in front facing the Ave (noisy, other 2nd floor rms face the back). No breakfast (website claims otherwise) also no klenex. Clean room, comfortable bed, good value.

The inside and the room is much nicer than you'd think when you get there. Pros: This is a roadside motel. The room itself was on the second floor and was incredibly clean. The room was large. It is right off the main road and close to the highway without the noise of either. Cons: This is a roadside motel-like building and the guests/residents on the ground floor and appearance from the road did not give a good first impression. Since I was there with my son (12) I was a more cautious than I would be alone. However, there were no issues and the room itself was fine. The cable was fuzzy. Tip: Withhold judgment until you get to your room and make sure your room is on the second floor.

Room was clean. Outside of the building was run down and unkept. No coffee or breakfast available. Hairdryer was taken from the wall. Shower was very nice and bed was comfortable.
