Note the usual Hampton I expect

Pros: Room was clean and as expected, other than the hot water issue.
Cons: See above.
Arrived at hotel at 3 am after a 5-hour drive and had to stand in the vestibule for about 8 minutes in the cold, holding all of my luggage et al, because no one would unlock the door. Once I got in the guy didn't care. Shower would get hot, then did for a short time, then got cold again. More like an old Radisson in that regard. I'd expect this from Motel6, but not Hampton Inn.

Checked in late and out early. The night clerk was very friendly, courteous and professional. Room was clean and quiet. Just what I needed at the time. Thank you!

Last minute

Pros: Nice room very clean good proximity to elevator cookies and coffee available for afternoon snack. Clerks at desk very helpful I was able to make a reservation the day before arrival because my husband was having surgery at the VA hospital and I did not want to drive home late that afternoon.I have stayed at many Hampton inns and have always been highly satisfied.
Cons: Dishes at breakfast too small and not sturdy. Good variety of food cheap cutlery!
Location: Loved being so near many places to eat

Plumbing very loud. Cable TV at an all time low, no guide, delayed channel changing. Staff is very nice and accommodating.
