Inside the common areas of the hotel and my room were very clean. The bartender and front desk staff were friendly. I was happy to find out (by accident) that the hotel had a covered garage on the ground floor, but it was littered with garbage.

Beautiful lobby area. Excellent location. Well decorated. Nice fireplace. Main entrance needs work. Pool was closed for repairs and I was not notified prior to booking nor the price reflected that. I prepaid the breakfast fee, but was told their system didn’t reflect it and that I needed to pay it again. Breakfast was absolutely horrible. Nothing was at the right temperature. Barely any food options. Price was very high for self serve bad food that was supposed to be made to order.

When I arrived, I found out that the pool wasn’t working. I was so upset because my kids wanted to swim. So they should of not had it up on the website saying that they had a pool. I literally had to rent a room at The Hampton inn in Shelton Ct. So my kids could swim. So the assistant manager told me I wasn’t charged that I would get my refund back from Expedia. So I’m hoping that it will get reinstated back on my credit card that I booked the room with.
