"Hotel was fine. Large comfortable bed. The included continental breakfast was also a nice addition. They were doing some work at the hotel while we there, so it looks they are trying to improve the place. The only complaint was the location. It is located very near to a major highway and is a bit of a walk to the Yale area of New Haven. The walk into town (via the Vision Trail) was okay during the day albeit very secluded in certain areas. However, I would probably want to find an alternative route in the evening. If you have a car though and plan to drive in and out of town, then this should not be a concern."

"I had an amazing experience here. I arrived late at night. This hotel was one of many stops on a long road trip. I urgently wanted to do my laundry but had no coins for the machines. A very nice, extremely kind, gentleman at the front desk when to his car and gifted me with some quarters, from his own money, so that I could do my laundry. I tried to pay him back but he insisted it was a gift. I am so grateful for his act of kindness! Amazing customer service!"
