A nice stay with a good breakfast with hot food. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Will stay here again when visiting family in the area. Down side, no pool for the kids!

Lovely town. Lovely hotel.

Posted Jul 27, 2015
I was very pleased with the hotel! We booked a weekend to take our children to Dutch Wonderland. Since it was a rather last minute plan, most Lancaster hotels were booked. Despite being 20 minutes away, the drive was stunning, the location quiet, and the hotel was very clean and very nice. Will be back in the Fall.

It got noisy!

Stayed three days first two days were pleasant. Last day woke to them cleaning above the room for a hour and half. Wife slept threw it as she can not hear in one ear. The vacuums they use are loud .

Thank you for taking the time to complete the online survey. We are very sorry the noise from the vacuum was very distrubing to you. We are working on getting vacuums that are not quite as noisy. Thank you for your business and hope to see you in the future. Bonnie Locher General Manager

Not Very Accommodating

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: It was in the country and quiet.
Cons: Better communication among the staff when asking for special request.
I booked this hotel on the views that I read. I stayed at this hotel this past weekend and was very dissatisfied with my accommodations. I called the hotel before booking and spoke with a very nice lady @ the front desk (Tracy) to ask questions abut the hotel. She was very nice and told me once I booked my dates to call her back and put in my request. I called her back and requested the second floor near the elevator. She informed me it was no problem since I was calling days ahead of time. My husband is a senior & I have had some heart surgery so we wanted the second floor but near the elevator. When we arrived Thursday arrived 5:30 pm, we were told there was no rooms near the elevator nor any near the front on the first floor. We were given a room on second floor almost to the end of the building. We dealt with it. We then decided to stay another night. What a big mistake. So once we went out and came back to change to go out to dinner to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, we was locked out of our room and had to go down to the front desk 3 times for new keys so that we could get into our room. Since we had such a time with that we decided that we would just order fast food and he went & picked it while I stayed in the room to make sure he could get in. What a SILVER ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION.

Remote, but nice facility & staff

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Look of the rooms and the staff.
Cons: Don't have any area that I noticed while there.
Location: It's a bit remote, I mean 30-40 miles of farms and silos. But it's within 20-30 minutes of lots of things, particularly the Jazz Festival.
We were up for the Berk's Jazz Festival and had only decided to come about 2 weeks ago and we needed 2 rooms. All of the nearby hotels were booked, so I looked around and found the Comfort Inn. I chose this hotel because out of all the others, it looked like a place we wouldn't mind staying in. I was correct. And breakfast came with it, real breakfast, not continental. The staff from the desk clerk to the person keeping the breakfast area stocked, to the maids were pleasant and helpful. We were about 30 minutes from where most of the shows were, but it was well worth the drive to have a nice room and a pleasant stay. And there were lots of guest there and things went smoothly. Way to go Amish Comfort Inn!

Close to all attractons

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was clean.
Cons: Insulation would help a lot!
Location: The location was close to Kitchen Kettle Village, Peaceful Valley and Kings.
The hotel was clean, however, we could not sleep as the walls are very thin. You heard the people upstairs walking, using the bathroom, shower, etc. It was not restful. Bathroom was extremely small.
