5 Bedroom- Prime Magazine St. Location- Best Restaurants And Shopping

New Orleans vacation home in Uptown Historic District, walk to Magazine Street
CLEAN and CAREFUL. In order to keep my home safe for visitors, I will leave 72 hours between bookings AND have my home thoroughly cleaned between guests for maximum safety.

This historic double, built in 1900, was converted into a single home in 2015. Care was given to restore the historic qualities of the home (12' ceilings, pocket doors, wide plank floors and incredible molding) and at the same time offer all the modern amenities travelers desire (new HVAC, modern kitchen and bathrooms and top quality beds and sheets). Furnished with antiques and art from many local artists.

Prime Location, just one block from some of the best restaurants in town:La Petite Grocery, Shaya, SaffronNOLA, Casamento's and many more. The Standard is an excellent casual breakfast/lunch spot. Grocery store and coffee shop around the corner. Within 4 blocks you have everything- antique stores, art galleries, fabulous clothing stores for men and women, workout facilities, nail and waxing salons and much more. You could spend days on this stretch of Magazine Street. 6 blocks from the best music venue in town- Tipitina's. Ideal Mardi Gras location, just one block from parade route.

While I thoroughly hope all my guests enjoy all New Orleans has to offer, my home is not a party pad. If you are looking for a place to have wild parties, please skip my home. We are located in a residential neighborhood and want to respect the neighbors. I also ask that you treat my home as just that, a home. If puking is part of your party agenda, this is not the home for you. Thank you!

5/5 Excellent

Gem off Magazine St
Went in to NOLA for a quick visit on Tulane’s campus. Home was perfect.

5/5 Excellent

Great gathering place
We gathered with 4 couples from our “Jazz Fest” crew for an early Get together in NOLA. This house had comfortable bedding and separate sections of the house for smaller conversations or naps: Front of house, backyard, kitchen and kitchen sitting room. Your close to shops on magazine for stocking up on food etc... for the house. We’ll definitely be back. Peace

Mardi Gras Mambo
Great place right near the parade route and stores and restaurants on Magazine. Heidi was a very responsive owner that made sure we were well taken care of.

Family Mardi Gras Weekend
Two families visiting for Mardi Gras weekend and this property is perfect! A block and a half from the parade route, well equipped with everything you could need from toilet paper to laundry detergent to kitchen items to folding chairs. The perfect set up. And Heidi the owner could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Highly recommend!
