You get what you pay forPosted Oct 5, 2015
It's a cheap hotel rotting from water damage and mold. It smells awful and the accommodations were in need of an update. It's decent for a one night cheap stay but that's about it.

A Hot messPosted Oct 5, 2015
The manager was rude & unprofessional. The rooms were nasty as ever. They popped the sheets. Walls had blood on them and food. Disgusting 👎👎👎

Roach MotelPosted Sep 9, 2015
Pros: easy on and off hwy
The air conditioner leaked and flooded the floor for about a 3feet dist. all the way around floor soaked. Brought to the attention of several of the front desk personnel including house keeping . For a 3 day stay the room was never made up. The very 1st night stay housekeeping just happen to be in hall way and we caught up to her for towels . but Sunday and Monday housekeeper no show with towels or cleaning had to go to front desk several times. Roaches in the room, several large items still on floor at the edge of beds (gained 2 hurricane glasses, and plastic dog bone) pull out bed had straight filth in between the cushions. The hotel was packed on our arrival Friday,so claims that it was too full to make any room changes for the water damage but the roaches were in 3 prominent areas in the breakfast area ,the elevator and of course our 3rd floor room. disgusting . Housekeeper dodged rooms was sitting on a bed in the other room texting when i caught up to her for towels and to ask that they refresh our room ,I was assured they would so imagine my frustration when on leaving @11 returning after 11:00 pm and not being able to get in room because they needed to refresh keys ,to get in no cleaned room and no fresh towels. And everyone passing the buck ,saying the new owner just bought it 3 weeks ago. And to add insult to injury they claimed they were unable to tie into baymont rewards so we could get the points for the bullet we just bit. I would not put my Enemy here.

Nice areaPosted Sep 2, 2015
Pros: The staff was nice
Cons: pest control, working keys to the room would be nice. Paint the walls. They were nasty.
Location: area was convenient to various places
Checked in the hotel and had to get 3 keys to get in the room because the key did not work. Once we got in the room, we had to leave because it was a terrible odor. We weresent into another room which we had to have the keys keyed a second time because the first time we could not get into the room. Upon being in the room, my wife saw 2 roaches which made the room uncomfortable. Terrible stay

OVERALL THE STAY WAS GOODPosted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: FRONT DESK STAFF WAS JUST GREAT
Cons: HOUSE KEEPING
Location: WE USE THIS MOTEL BECAUSE OF THE LOCATION. WE GO TO NEW ORLEANS TO EAT SEAFOOD AND GO FISHING AND VISIT FRIENDS
THE MOTEL WAS OK BUT THE BED WAS WORN OUT. FRONT DESK STAFF WAS EXCELLENT BUT HOUSE KEEPING WAS LAX AS ALWAYS. THEY JUST REMAKE THE BED REPLACE TOWLES AND THAT IS IT.

Nice Hotel close to the cityPosted Jun 30, 2015
Nice hotel close to the city and attractions. Hotel was obviously older but clean and affordable. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was very good. My family had a great stay. Will definitely stay there again if we visit New Orleans again.

Not worth it!Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Checking out.
Cons: EVERYTHING! The staff could be friendlier and focus on the guests instead of personal phone calls.
This hotel is run down and in need of updating and fixing up! The carpet is stained, torn and worn out. Although they claim to be a smoke free hotel, the room had numerous burns in the carpet and drapes. Every evening the whole floor we stayed on smelled so strongly of incense I had a headache. The manager was informed and became irritated with me, telling me "I can't go accusing anyone of doing it!" She also informed me she would have the maintenance person come and "spray something" on the floor to eliminate the odor. Not sure how that works, and it didn't. There were bugs crawling on the floor and walls. The wall paper was peeling off the walls.
