Great Location

This hotel was in a great area with easy access to all things in the French Quarter. My primary concern was the noise and most from within the hotel, doors slamming constantly, and you could easily hear what happens in the halls. With additional sound proofing it would be great!

Did not dissapoint

Great for first time in New Orleans. Only concern was that they did not have my room ready by guaranteed time. There was contradictory info as to whether it was 3 or 4 pm. I usually arrive early to maximize my time. After 2 hours of waiting I finally got into room at 415 pm. The building was newly renovated and beautiful but the acoustics are such that you can hear your neighbors as if they are in the same room. Bathroom was a little small but just remodeled. All in all it was a gorgeous place, perfect location, and so charming. Truly did not want to leave.

I reserved a 2 Bedroom suite for my family of 5 for 4 nights. At check in they told me that the suite had been given to someone else. They told me that we would be in 2 different rooms (on the same hall) for 2 nights and then they would move us to the suite for the last 2 nights. I wish that we could have all been in the same room for more family time. However, I was able to convince them to let us stay in those rooms for all 4 nights because moving 6 peoples stuff after we already unpacked would not be fun. The staff was VERY nice, helpful and accommodating. We came on the train to NOLA. Our return train home left at 7 am. We could not get a taxi and the staff could not get us a taxi. We were about to miss our train. Here is the best part. Two of the front desk ladies, loaded us in their personal cars and drove us to the station so we would not miss our train. We made it right on time!

It is a great location in terms of being right off of Canal street. My room wasn't cleaned 1 night so that was bizarre. The bed was never made all 3 days I stayed there. I assume that is because they don't change the sheets but other hotels do the same thing and still make up the bed.

5 days of Mardi Gras Went Well

Pros: Great Rooms with distinct Character and friendly staff
Cons: Elevator is a little slow and bumpy
Location: Perfect location for this City
Comfortable Beds, Easy Access to Clean Rooms. Friendly staff

Excellent Location

We stayed a few days before All-Star weekend. Loved being able to walk to everything! We rented a car but really only needed it twice. One "complaint" we had was that the bed wasn't a King size. Other than that we loved it!
