Nice Hotel Close to the Port

My family stayed here two separate nights before and after a cruise. The stay was pleasant; and the staff was very helpful, especially the first night we stayed. I wish I got the name of the staff member that helped us get our bags to our room and came back to trouble shoot a problem with the television. She was awesome! Staff recommended restaurants and city tours. Brochures for different tours are available as well as menus for restaurants that deliver to the hotel. The free breakfast is good, not great, but good. The pool was open, but I didn’t get a chance to use it. It looked clean and the kids were definitely having fun in it. Pros: Free breakfast Available hotel shuttle (we paid for the hotel shuttle to port, had to catch a taxi from the port and to and from the city of New Orleans and the train station due to how early we had to catch the train – the shuttle driver was very pleasant, helpful and funny) Clean, nice renovation (I never stayed at the hotel before the renovation, so I can’t provide a before and after comparison) Friendly, helpful staff Ice water available in lobby USB ports in room Refrigerator and microwave in room Held luggage when we arrived early from the ship while we toured New Orleans Let us eat breakfast upon early arrival ++

Excellent, rien à redire!! Nous avons eu peur que ce soit bruyant lorsqu'on est arrivés dû à la proximité de l'autoroute mais finalement pas un bruit! 'Nickel 👍

Nice hotel just a quick drive to all attractions

The hotel was updating there cable so we did not have tv for one night. Other than that was a great stay. Just a quick drive to all torist attractions

Great Room For the price.

Pros: Room and breakfast freebies.
Cons: Entrance gates hard to work with.
Location: Ok but a little hard to find originally.
Originally had been placed on 2nd floor room. But because of my girlfriend's inability to clime stairs we were offered a first floor room which was very considerate and very much appreciated.

Reasonably priced hotel close to everything.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable but with extremely thin walls. Nice bathroom with plenty of towels. Nice courtyard area. Only issue was that I'd booked a 3 night stay, however, my room key was disabled daily. A huge inconvenience having to get it re-activated each time I left the premises. Other than that, no complaints. Will definitely stay there again!

Very nice, close to Mall

Pros: Close to everything
Cons: Only one elevator, need more. But wasn't a problem.
Location: Mall, shops and downtown New Orleans
We arrived very early and was worried about the hotel letting us check-in early. Front desk allowed us to check in early with no problem at all. Very happy about that!! Will always stay here on our next trip to New Orleans. Room was clean, very nice atmosphere. Very close to shops and restaurants and about 20 min to Downtown New Orleans!

Cons: Ice machine. I had difficulty finding it. The front desk staff was able to get me some
Location: Kmart was in walking distance. There were other shops in driving distance.
The staff was friendly and helpful during my stay. The breakfast was super. Clean room, large bathroom, great iron just to name a few things I enjoyed.

Close to French Quarter

Cons: Clean the rooms when you're supposed to. Stop assigning broken keys
Location: French Quarter
We picked this hotel because of the price. It was cheaper than staying in the FQ and paying for paddling. It's only about 10-15mins away and there's a lot of places to eat in the area. The breakfast wasn't good. The only hot thing that was appetizing was the sausage. I stayed there for 3 nights and my room was only "cleaned" once. When they did clean my room the only made the bed and gave us towels. They didn't throw away any of the trash in my room. My room key stopped working every other day. I had to go down to the office and get a new one twice. The walls are VERY thin. We were right next to the laundry so I could hear every conversation or anytime housekeeping would slam their carts into the wall.
