Great Place to Stay in NOLAPosted Sep 22, 2015
The Creole Gardens staff was friendly and accommodating, a truly memorable stay. Miss ann prepared the best breakfasts and doubled as the dj on Friday spinning old 45's. Joe was the local historian. The rooms were extremely clean and inviting. The courtyard must be seen to appreciate. One block from trolley and walking distance to many restaurants. It was our first time in NOLA and next time were are staying here, too!

Unique New Orleans experience.Posted Jul 19, 2015
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful, Annie the cook and DJ (Friday night entertainment in the old horse barn) was a delight and a great cook.
Location: Great Irish Resturant one block away on St Charles. Several other restaurants nearby. One block to street car line, 5 blocks to WWII museum.
Wonderful stay in a location which is historic. This B&B was clean, staff friendly, a good home style breakfast everyday and just what we were hoping for in a neighborhood setting. Construction on street car line required riding buses to main Garden district hopefully that will be completed soon. Magazine street bus line one block away also.

Great location within walking distance to attractions. Good food nearby and trolleys as well. Friendly staff, quaint little B&B. Would stay here again.

Our stay was okay. It was a very simple room, but could have used a few more surfaces to put things on. The host and hostess that managed the hotel were very nice, friendly and helpful.

OK for the moneyPosted Mar 11, 2013 on Hotels
The building was in serious need of repainting on the outside. The doors are old wood doors that don't always close right. The free breakfasts are nice. Rooms are not cleaned daily. You keep the same sheets and blankets all week. Location is good. It was fine for me, glad i didn't bring my wife. it would not have met her standards. Overall, decent, but nothing great.

Creole Gardens Guesthouse and InnPosted Feb 2, 2013 on Hotels
Funky and fun; great experience with the proprietors; a delicious breakfast made to order; excellent advice about places to go and thinks to see within walking distance and easy to reach by public transportation. I stayed there two nights on the way to my final destination and one night on my way back. I will stay there again.

Ok location, great staff, needs updating.Posted Oct 31, 2009 on Hotels
Upon arriving at the hotel I was greeted by the front desk clerk and owner who were both very nice. They showed me to my room, gave me a map of the city, and a recommendation for somewhere close to eat. The room was not what I expected. It needed updating. There were some holes in the wall and holes in the floor. The shower head was not installed correctly and would not move. It shot right into my face and the stall was so small you could not avoid it. There were stains on the sheets and the furniture was torn up and worn out. However, the location was good..in a residential area, but close to bourbon street. The staff was also very nice and very helpful. I think I definately got what I paid for and if on a budget, like this trip, would stay again. Just wish they would do some updating to the rooms.
