The Clarion is a poorly-managed, poorly-maintained, unclean facility with little to recommend it. It would be difficult to find a hotel with a less motivated staff. One would almost wonder if management sought out employees who were as self-interested and unconcerned with guests' comfort. We identified several deficiencies and malfunctions in our room, including an inoperable refrigerator. The room had no microwave, the only one available to guests being located in a bar area ata distance from the room. The may have been additional ice machines on an upper floor, however that on our floor was inoperable and the other at a considerable distance. The carpet in our room can only be described as "filthy," as were those we observed in the public areas. Requests for room cleaning and a linen refresh were ignored, only rectified by confronting housekeeping in the hallway with our soiled linen, and taking the initiative to clean the room ourselves. Possibly a one-night traveler heading out in an early flight might be able to overlook the above, however we were locked into a 5-night stay due to an uncancellable reservation so we had no choice (interesting use of a term, since it's a "CHOICE HOTEL"). We were unable to move to another facility without sacrificing our prepaid fees. In short, do not expect a clean, well-maintained facility with desired amenities. Further, do not expect a cleanliness, a responsive staff or the management to care. Recommendation: Go elsewhere!

It’s a great location with nearby dining options. However, I was disappointed to learn at check in that the airport shuttle didn’t start until 7:00 a.m. and my flight was at 8:00 a.m. It was the only reason that I chose to stay at this hotel to begin with. I then had to take a taxi to get to the airport.

The front desk staff was amazing, and my room was spacious, with a nice bath tub. Yet I was not happy with the fact the attached restaurant did not have a Saturday buffet, and the swimming pool and jacuzzi are down and have been for a while. There is ample parking.

The staff was great is a understatement! We will definitely stay here every time we visit within 30 miles of our destination.. Everything was clean no smells and comfortable no complaints what so ever ! Special shout out to the African American lady that works the front desk think her name is Kayla but definitely starts with a K she bent over backwards for us .. upper management was great also ! Has great security also that’s friendly too!

From the moment I reached out about reservations, to my arrival about my reservations was met with rude, sarcastic attitude that did not want me there. The front desk person had no welcoming conduct to my presence until she was forced to accommodate me because I fell asleep in lobby waiting for a 4 :00 pm check in time when the hotel had low occupancy. I will never stay or request a stay at any such property again.

The toilet didn't work properly. The room was located on the first floor near the ballroom and there was an event/noise throughout my stay. Piped in music started playing very early in the morning. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would stay again but not on the first floor.
