Close to airport

Posted Feb 6, 2016
Pros: The staff and shuttle drivers
Cons: Needs updating!
Location: Close to airport but not much else that we could find.
This hotel is old and showing its age! It served its pupose as we wanted to be close to the airport as we had an early morning flight out. The only resturant that was close by was at the Hilton next door and some barbeque place. The shuttle took us to the Hilton, picked us back up, and to the airport in the morning. The staff was extremely helpful and very pleasant. They were definitely the highlight of our stay!

Perfect for guests flying out early in the morning. It's not a luxury hotel by any means but is adequate for a one night stay.

I named it ...trains, planes and automobiles,

Very noisy with the train blowing its horn twice during the night. The only good thing was being so close to the airport.

Convenient for 24 hour shuttle

Posted Jan 27, 2016
Pros: Location.
Cons: Cleanliness
Location: The airport is over the road and the only reason you would stay here.
I stayed here purely for the 24 hour shuttle service to the airport, as I had a very early flight the next morning. It is literally across the road from the airport, so very short trip. Rooms are spacious, but very old and I didn't feel entirely clean. There is a coffee machine in the room and one in the foyer. There is also a vending machine for snacks and an IHOP restaurant attached. Other than this, without a vehicle, your food options are very limited.

Has airport shuffle

Posted Jan 25, 2016
Lights not working. Things are old. Definitely not a 3 star. The only reason I lived here is because it has airport shuffle. The shuffle was useful tho.

Inexpensive, not bad.

Posted Jan 15, 2016
Pros: The price was really good. The staff are very nice.
Cons: Parking was strange. Didn't explain parking in the back.
Location: Close to airport. Only reason to stay is easy access to airport. IHOP nearby is nice. Shuttle 24 hour is nice but we had a rental car.
The lights outside the window were very bright. No free breakfast. Security was good. Sleeping was ok. Old TVs. Coffee machine didn't work. Bed was squeaky. If you just need a place to stay it's fine. If you're looking for luxury, go elsewhere.

An OK hotel

Posted Jan 4, 2016
Pros: Having an IHOP next door
Cons: Cleaning the rooms could be improved.
Location: Nothing real close.
Nothing more... nothing less... a place to stay. It is next to an airport so earplugs worked wonders. The cost was very reasonable for what we got. Accessibility to highways was very good.

Don't bother

Posted Dec 2, 2015
Pros: Close to IHOP and the airport
Cons: Everything
Location: Airport is close and IHOP is next door
The hotel is definitely not a 3 star we were very dissappointed the room smelled we found bugs on the mattress they sprayed the floor that didn't help the air conditioner was very loud the lobby had leaks water was everywhere There are too many nicer hotels at the airport to stay there the place is a joke. IFyou in New Orleans for a day or two working and need a place to sleep and eat [IHOP is next door] close to the airport maybe but if you're there with your family vacationing or to experience New Orleans stay downtown. DON'T STAY THERE!!!!!
