Great for familiesPosted Nov 26, 2015
Love the location, great access to streetcars, shopping, museums and wonderful family activities. The breakfast every morning was awesome and the service at the hotel was always quick and courteous.

Hotel stayPosted Nov 19, 2015
Pros: The staff was great and the food was very good!
Cons: Valet parking and cleanliness of exterior room doors as well as pretty large gaps in the exterior doors to the room.
Location: Great location to walk to nearby venues and restaurants.
Dirty outside room doors don't make for a great first impression. Closet doors don't work and lock was broken on balcony door. Valet parking was totally understaffed and unfortunately they would not let you park your own car. The staff was great and quick to respond to any concerns. Hotel needs some tlc and it would be a great place to stay.

The Embassy Suites Hotel was convenient to the cruise terminal from which we walked and reasonably close to the French Quarter that we wished to visit. The complimentary breakfast and complementary cocktails were very good.

DisappointedPosted Nov 14, 2015
The location is good but after that everything goes downhill. The place is marginally clean and our room was located in a location that required you to travel down stairs. This made it difficult for my elderly mother to access the room and impossible for another relative in a wheel chair to visit our room. The room was dark and clean up service never came.

Great locationPosted Nov 12, 2015
Pros: Location. Breakfast. Easy check-in. Friendly staff. Nightly drinks were a nice touch as well.
Location: Plenty of restaurants. The convention center and riverfront are very close.
If you don't want to stay in the middle of the busy French Quarter and want a more quiet time, this is the place for you. It's about a 15 minute walk to the Quarter and to the Superdome. Plenty of great restaurants around. I've been to New Orleans a number of times. This was the first time I had stayed in this part of town. I will only stay here now on return visits.

DisappointedPosted Nov 10, 2015
Pros: The beds are nice
'The room we stayed in was not easy to find or clean. The hotel staff was too busy to the clean all of the rooms. We called around 4 pm and just asked if we could at least have fresh towels. We were located between floors and had to take interior stairs to reach the room making it difficult for my elderly mom and impossible for my aunt who was in a wheelchair and staying on another floor to visit our room. The hotel hallways are dimly lit with dark carpet. When my mom complained we were given a small acommodation off of the room rate.

N'awlins TripPosted Nov 5, 2015
The hotel experience was amazingly cool. My lady and I had a great time we loved our room just kinda wish we would've received new pillows and new sheets as oppose to just neatly replacing the same pillows and same sheets we originally had; fresh pillows and fresh sheets would've been a great deal especially when staying 5 nights plus. Overall, I rate it 4.5/5. Thanks for the hospitality N'awlins.

Nice hotel but distant from the French QuarterPosted Nov 3, 2015
Pros: Hot breakfast and Happy Hour a nice touch.
Cons: Internet access and more staff available to clean the rooms in a timely manner.
Location: WWII museum; Art Galleries, one of Emeril's restaurants
Pleasant stay but room furniture a bit uncomfortable. There is no internet access either.
