Poor quality and irritating staff

We were really disappointed with this hotel considering what we paid. The room smelled old and the bedding was beyond cheap. Their housekeeping policies were not made clear and were not consistent. During our 4 night stay, no one ever came to bring us new towels (and no, we did not use the Do Not Disturb sign). They came to our door one morning and asked for our dirty towels so that they could be washed, I tossed our pile of towels in her basket and when we returned that evening, no new towels were there. We had to go ask the front desk for some and they gave us some. The next day on our way back in for the evening, we stopped and asked for a few towels since we knew we needed them again, and the lady told us we had to bring down our dirty ones to exchange them for inventory purposes. This was inconsistent with the last time we'd asked for towels. The day I gave a lady our dirty ones, they were not counted or anything like that, I simply threw a pile in her huge laundry basket. This was extremely irritating. I didn't pay over $100/night to steal your cheap towels. Also, our room had a kitchenette, but we had to go ask for dishware, nothing was in the drawers and cabinets for us to use. No plates, silverware, nothing. Not even a roll of paper towels in the kitchenette to use. Only plus about this place, I didn't have to pay for parking.
