Party Central

Posted Jul 21, 2016
Pros: The staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are small and quaint. The beds are soft and comfortable. The coffee is the BOMB!!!!!
Cons: -----
Location: This hotel is centrally located around everything that you read or see about New Orleans. Very awesome!!!
This is a beautiful hotel right in the middle of all the action. You really should park in the hotel's valet parking since there is really no parking anywhere else (it is a bit pricey but at least you know your car is safe). Everything is walking distance, the water, shops, restaurants. You are able to drive through town during the day just be aware of all the construction and one way streets. At night, some of the streets are closed down for pedestrians so driving is a nightmare. The hotel is located right in the heart of party town. We would walk around and explore with our children during the day but they were back in the hotel by 9 or 10. It has a Vegas feel at night, hot with a lot of drunks and nakedness. The shops were willing to negotiate prices on some things like t-shirts. Beer prices are better than liquor and most of the restaurants are pricey. If your willing to drive outside of the area, you can find decent prices on food, which is what we always do anyways. Overall, this was a great vacation, a great hotel.

Great hotel in the Quarter

Posted Jul 16, 2016
Really enjoyed our stay. We were able to easily walk everywhere from the hotel. Even for trips out of the Quarter, it has easy access to the trolly system. Great place.

Stench of Bourbon

Posted Jul 16, 2016
Pros: Great, amazing, friendly, clean...
Cons: The stench of the surrounding area.
Location: All of the food was similar around the French Quarters. No one restaurant was better than the next, but all were good.
This hotel and its staff were amazing! But, the stench of Bourbon Street was too much to handle. It smelt like permanent barf. This was the first vacation I have had where I spent so much time inside of a hotel room, and was grateful to have a nice one to relax in. You can still hear the music from the street, and relax to an adult beverage from the safety of your own room. Although the hotel and its staff were nothing short of amazing, I DO NOT recommend to ever stay down on Bourbon Street.

Great location in the French Quarter

Posted Jun 30, 2016
Pros: The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet.
Cons: They had a shampoo and soap dispenser on the shower wall that fell off early the last morning of our stay and created a bit of a mess.
Location: Fritzells European Jazz is a block from the hotel, great place to spend the evenings. You can walk everywhere in the French Quarter from here.
We stayed 4 nights in this hotel and loved the location. It is in the center of the French Quarter so everything was in walking distance. We used the trolly system if we wanted to go outside the French Quarter. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

Everything was great except check-in.

Posted Jun 26, 2016
Pros: Hotel was fine.
Cons: Pool furniture needs improving.
Location: Location on Bourbon Street was great. Many good restaurants and bars close by. Always something going on in this area.
Arrived about 3:00 and did not get into room until 5:15. Only the bellmen seemed to be concerned about us sitting in the lobby waiting so long.

Danielle is the worst front-desk person

Posted May 28, 2016
Danielle at the front desk doesn't belong anywhere in the hospitality industry. She clearly hates her job and isn't interested in welcoming visitors or helping in any way.

Noisy location but center of the party.

Posted May 7, 2016
Pros: Staff was very friendly and they stored our bikes that we had rented for our stay.
Location: Be sure to visit Frenchman Street and Tipitina's for great music.
This hotel is fine and what you would expect from a Sheraton, however it is in the center of the party and very noisy at night. The beds were comfortable and the front desk did provide us with ear plugs.

Great hotel located right in the heart of the Burbon Street party. You will get little sleep, but have lots of fun.
