Friendly Service

Posted Dec 2, 2016
Pros: Location supreme! Café Opera had a delicious breakfast - French Toast ... Delicious! Very friendly people at the front desk. Lovely courtyard!
Cons: Signs on doorknobs that say "ready for service" so rooms are not forgotten.
In the heart of the French Quarter, this is a very nice hotel. Friendly people. Downfalls: Drumming in front of the hotel for about an hour every evening (but, hey, most likely you'll be out at dinner somewhere anyway!). It seemed like the charging of my phone was extra slow via the outlets in my room (but another guest said they didn't have the same problem). And one day, housekeeping did not clean our room. But overall, I had a very satisfying experience at this hotel located in the perfect spot!

Excellent front-desk staff; clean, modern hotel

Posted Nov 14, 2016
Arrived too early for check-in but front desk staff facilitated efficient pre-check-in and called as soon as room was ready. When I commented that the balconies overlooking Bourbon St seemed to provide a good view of the action they upgraded my room, at no charge, to have a balcony - which seemingly most of the rooms do not. This provided endless entertainment. It was noisy all night long, but the hotel provides ear plugs and you should not seek a balcony room if you are not prepared for the noise. Cannot comment on hotel food because we used Open Table to book great meals throughout trip. Overall, was very happy with the Sheraton Four Points. Waited too long to make the reservation and settled for Four Points when the Westin, Omni, and other choices were unavailable. But worked-out great, with the Four Points being right in the middle of the French Quarter action, which was the purpose of this particular trip. Certainly would not recommend, due to the location, for any kind of business trip or culinary/cultural outing.

Pros: It was very clean, spacious and quiet inside the hotel and around the pool. Once inside, you would never know you're on Bourbon Street.
Cons: The Bourbon Street location. A very noisy and smelly street.
Location: Enjoyed the French Quarter, in general. Nice shops, restaurants, etc. Doable walk to French Mkt. Jackson Sq. and WWII Museum.
Very nice facility. Quiet, secluded patio and pool area away from the noise of Bourbon Street. Would recommend this location for younger folks who like the bars and loud music out on the street. Older folks, such as ourselves, not so fond of the location. Nothing against the hotel itself. We loved it.

Absolute perfection

Posted Nov 2, 2016
Location: In the center of everything. Best location and at an inexpensive cost for the experience you receive.
Comfortable, clean, pleasant, accommodating (even with out of the blue seemingly odd requests), friendly, fun..nothing negative to say.

Right in the heart of the French Quarter

Posted Nov 1, 2016
Location: Step out the front door of the lobby onto Bourbon Street. Music, restaurants, bars and shops in every direction.
Friendly and pleasant front desk staff. Open and comfortable lobby with nice bar and seating area. Small, but very comfortable and clean room. Wonderfully cozy bed! I haven't slept so good in a long time. I have already told friends about the hotel and would definitely stay there again!

Very quiet considering the noise outside. Great staff and guest facilities. Very clean and secure. Second time there and well return. Great value given its location.

Check in delay

Posted Oct 25, 2016
Pros: This hotel is located in the center of Bourbon Street activities with transportation available to other New Orleans locations and sites.
Cons: Upon arrival when "check in" was suppose to be at 3pm, did not get checked in until after 5pm!
Location: For anyone looking for the "Bourbon Street" action and activity this hotel is right in the midst of the action.

October Vavation

Pros: Very nice hotel. Loved 4th floor balcony. Room was very nice. Staff was nice and friendly.
Cons: No fridge. And outside all around New Orleans. Full of beggers and swindlers. They all want money , bum cigarettes ,
Location: Great history about New Orleans , We did river boat dinner night Cruze. It was great. Food was the best.
Went to New Orleans for vacation in what we thought was off season. Wanted to visit French Quarters and take in the history and Not go when Martygra was happening . Very big suprise . Arrived Sunday afternoon. Hotel is right on Bourbon street witch we new but did not expect the heave crouds and heavy party. Heavy parting every night , we did not expect that. The city is torn up every night and the city cleans it up every day. And do a great job of it. I've been to Sturgis for bike week 3 times , does not even compair to how crazy New Orlands gets. Still had fun. Hotel and staff are great. Lots of home less and con artest and beggars all over the city. Watch out for all the swindlers. The city is Crazy. The Hotel is Great. Thank you for a great stay.
