AC was not cool enough. The shower had growths all in the grout on tile. The beds were HORRIBLE!!!! I complained to the staff about everything and they just sent someone that said they worked on the AC but it was still way too hot.

The only surprise I had was when I checked in and was told there was a $25 resort fee per day. The lady who checked me in said if I spend money with the hotel each day, I will get $10 back per day at the end of my stay. So, for three days, I had to pay $75 and at the end of my stay, I believe, I received $10 back. So ... what really is the deal? I enjoyed staying at The Hilton Riverside in New Orleans. I thought I had paid everything before I came but no. Extra charges. That was the only surprise I had. Overall, GREAT stay!!!

Great hotel in an optimal NOLA location. Came for a conference, so mostly use the local facilities. It is very walkable and close to amenities like the Mississippi river and the World War II museum. It has a bit of old world charm, but everything was clean and the staff were excellent.

The hotel was definitely in a good spot. We could walk down the hall and get on the escalade and go to the outlets. We were 3 mins from canal street and maybe 10 mins from bourbon walking. The staff was great and very friendly. I definitely will book again in the future.

check-in staff were very nice and friendly. however I had to call in after 5 pm to ask for my room to be cleaned the following day and my next door left over food was outside for the all day and it was not very present to look at every time I passed by. Even I could see housekeeping and manager few time in the hall way. the very bad experience was with my check out at 4 am and your guest service lady with the name of Destenee was very unfriendly and ignorant and even when I ask her name she refuse to give me and when I ask to talk to manager she said she is the manager. she did not ask for my room # and even care. with very un-presents manager told me just drop your key and go and every one automatically will be checked out at 11. I stayed at Marriot next block before my cruise and they manage to give me room very early in the morning. I paid almost 1500 for 2 nights hotel and I got a service that was less than satisfactory and maybe kind of service you get in 2 stars hotel. In my experience Hilton does not car about customer as long as they could chare more during high season and provide less service. otherwise they could have simply check me out at 4 am and have the room clean and provide it earlier to the next customer.

They do not clean the rooms like all other hotels. They make the beds without changing the sheets. They do not clean room bathroom. I found pubic hair all over the counter when I got to the hotel. They sent house cleaning up 4 times before they changed the sheets and wiped the counter in the bathroom. Their customer service is horrible. The cleaning people do not care to do their job. I was ignored by managment my 1st day there because I wanted new sheets without hair on them. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever been to.

Terrible service. The hotel did not provide the room and bed configuration we booked, confirmed and paid for weeks before our stay there (Dec. 31 - Jan. 3). We asked for, booked and twice had confirmed a a larger room with two beds and a roll-away (which we needed). We were given a very small room and no roll-away. They said no roll-away would fit in the room and no other rooms available. They admitted the room/bed screw-up was their fault, but nothing they could or would do for us because they were overbooked due to NYE and the Sugar Bowl. Room was cramped, we had to double up on beds and were miserable. They refused any kind of accomodation, including any discount for the wrong room and lack of bed. Personnel were rude, condescending and totally unhelpful at every step. We urge people to avoid this Hilton hotel. We'll never go back there.

Stayed six nights for Sugar bowl. 5 stars for location. Close to everything. Walk to French Quarter and CBD. River is right there. Hop on/Hop off Bus stop right across street and streetcar a block away. Rooms are dated but quiet. Some train horns can be heard but didn’t bother me too much. No microwave in room. Fridge wasn’t working..told staff about it but nothing done. Lost a $16 piece of cake and had to keep milk in ice bucket for breakfast. View was fantastic! Loved watching the boats go up and down river. No real non seafood restaurant on site and breakfast was buffet, not an option for hubby (liver transplant survivor) so we struggled with food for his AM meds. Not sure we’d stay here again ..but would highly recommend to anyone who doesn’t have as many restrictions as us.
