Old hotel, could use some fixing up.

Pros: Location
Cons: It could use some care.
Location: French Quarter and St. Louis Cemetery really close.
It's older, and a little musty. Great location for our business needs site-seeing- walking distance to the French Quarter.

Great hotel. Great staff! So, what's the issue?

Pros: The friendly staff and clean room.
Cons: Have some type of directional screen in front of the air conditioner. It's a foot or two away from the bed and the vents are aimed directly at the bed
Location: Location is good
Loved the hotel and location. Problem is that it's located next to a hotel that host rooftop parties on the weekends. When I was a guest there were parties both nights..loud ones. Even with my patio door closed on the 16th floor, the party music was disturbing. I kept the room air conditioner going all night (yes, I was freezing) preferably wanting to hear the hum of the machine rather than very loud music. To the hotel's credit, I did call the lobby and was informed that the music was coming from the hotel next door and that they would call and ask that they turn it down a bit. The party lasted past 1:00 am. I had an early morning appt and needed a full night's rest..which I didn't receive.

It is close to everything!

Pros: You could walk to anything near here. There is a market about 3 or 4 blocks from there, bourbon street is in walking distance and so is food .
Cons: There is nothing I could just pin point I would have like some vegetarian options at the restaurant
My over all stay was nice it's a clean place to stay with great staff for the most part. I only had a small hint of an maybe over worked employee when I checked in. I hardly have contact with staff when I stay anywhere because I do know large groups of people can some what over whelm them. However I can't for the life of me remember the ladies name but she was very nice to me. Although I didn't need room service I did need towels and she made sure I had exactly what I needed. Sure wore a grey shirt ,very sweet demeanor and kind nature. I wish I could remember her name I enjoyed her I was on the 10th floor so if that helps I hope so.

Fireworks

Pros: We liked the rooftop pool, the balconies in the rooms, and the views.
Location: The close-by green trolley stop for a nice tour through the Garden District, past the WWII museum, cemetery, & Magazine st. away from the crowds
We stayed for the night of the 4th of July. We were able to enjoy an obstructed view of the fireworks from the rooftop pool. This was very cool...literally as it was at least 200 degrees and humid outside. It was also nice to not be caught in the crowd. From the reviews, I was afraid that the hotel was out of the way. It wasn't bad at all. It probably took us an extra five minutes to walk to the French Quarter. Conversely, the hotel was much closer to the green trolly stop and the E2 bus to the airport than the French Quarter hotels. The staff was great. We were allowed to check in early because there was a room available. When that room had a stench in the carpet, they happily switched us to a different room. It's New Orleans so you already know there were dozens of restaurants, bars, and stores withing a stone's throw.

Hotel within walking distance to many attractions.

First impressions of hotel not the greatest, musty smell and stained curtains. The hotel did grow on me, staff was extremely courteous and polite, and the beds were very comfortable. Key card had to be used for parking and to get into the elevator to access guest rooms, I felt very safe.I would stay here again, located within walking distance to French Quater, Bourbon Street, and the Superdome. Very short drive to Garden District and cemetery.

First off, the white girl at the front reception was really rude when checking us in, her name starts with an A., She didn't even say welcome or thank you and didn't even inform us of where the pool was located or fitness room much less the restaurant or bar...the room we stayed in was on the 18th floor, bed was comfy and room was clean however you could hear sirens all through out the night and they were very loud and annoying so no, the rooms are not sound proof...housekeeping did a decent job however when you greet them with a good morning you will get no response just a stare from head to toe...the manager, looks like a Hispanic guy was just sitting at the bar every single night we were there talking to the white bartender who by the way was also extremely rude and doesn't smile or say thank you either...location was ok not great was about a 15 minute walk to bourbon street and french quarter, although all of our uber drivers did warn us about not walking back to the hotel in the night due to it not being safe and actually that weekend that we were there, there was a shooting!!!! Scary !!!

The hotel reservation served it's purpose.... 1 night stay for concert. Draw backs: had to pay an additional $30 for parking. Check-in was backed up so we had to wait 30 minutes with several cars blocking traffic on street but then it went fast. Found several short curly hairs on top of bedroom comforter and AC unit had exposed wires from maintenance. :-(

Nice location

Pros: Staff was nice!!
Cons: They charged me for some else Laundry bill. They took if off before leaving Hotel.
Location: Great location!!
Good. Room Service took to long to clean room. We left in the morning came back at 4:00 and room still not clean Had to go to the Hotel Loudge while they clean room. Not cool!!
