Pros: The location and the very helping stuff
Location: It is just where all the fun happen at night
The location of the hotel is perfect, it is almost at the corner of Bourbon street where all the fun is every night. Every thing around is in a walking distance. The breakfast is very good.

Great locationPosted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: Everything was awesome!
Cons: No improvements needed.
Location: Location for Bourbon Street excitement was GREAT..
My stay at Hotel Le Marais was absolutely a 5 star! The staff & amenities was the best. Location was 1/2 block off Bourbon Street in the heart of all activities . I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay in New Orleans & wanting all the action of Bourbon Street. The food at all the restaurants was as expected for the New Orleans feel.

Excellent Stop OverPosted Sep 28, 2015
Cons: Front door "welcome" feeling. Doormen could use a podium, maybe a couple of park-type benches by the doors. Just no hotel-like vibe at entry.
The only reason I did not give this hotel five stars across the board is due to street location. General closeness to "the action" in the area is excellent. The street itself however, is poor with major construction and no entry front seating. You just feel when you walk out the front door, you're thrown "on the street". Once you step inside, you're in another very hip world. LOVE the atrium by the bar in the center. VERY private and secluded-feeling. The rooms are modern and make you feel rich. Price may be a bit of a topic for some, but you won't feel cheated even if you are paying a little more.

Great Hotel, good location!!!!Posted Sep 18, 2015
Pros: Location, salt water pool, has a bar inside, free drink tickets upon check in
Cons: Have option to already have a refrigerator in the room. Also the room safe was always breaking down. Pain!
Location: Steamboat Natchez, Erin Rose Irish bar, Jackson squar
We did a package deal through Expedia with airefare and hotel. Hotel Le Marais is at on Conti just near Royal /Bourbon streets on either side. It's about a 5-7 minute walk to Bourbon Street action and Jackson square and about a 8 -10 minute walk to Steamboat Natchez and the Mississippi River. The hotel was quiet (we requested a quiet room). Nice large King size bed, nice shower. The hotel rate included breakfast which is always a plus and saves time in the morning! Breakfast was yummy and included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, melon, juices, cereal, muffins! Excellent! There is a smallish salt water swimming which was a nice respite after walking all day. We were able to schedule a Plantation tour and get picked up in front of the hotel which was nice. There is a great Irish dive bar just down the street on Bourbon called "Erin Rose" for a po-boy and pint. The only negative I can say about the hotel is our room did not have a refrigerator but the front desk asked if we wanted one they could bring one up. Big plus is the entire hotel is nonsmoking. Very nice experience overall.

Great hotel in the heart of the French QuarterPosted Sep 15, 2015
Lovely hotel only 1/2 a block from Bourbon Street! The stretch of Conti St that it's on doesn't look too appealing when you first arrive but actually the whole area is great, vibrant and yet safe - it's just this particular bit isn't pretty. Friendly and helpful hotel staff and the place itself is very modern/chic in its approach especially the bar/lobby. Breakfast is standard American buffet type, and more than adequate. Dozens of restaurants, bars, clubs nearby too. Walking distance to Canal St for streetcars (close), riverbank area (further). I'd be happy to stay here again if ever I returned to the city.

Modern intimate hotel off Bourbon StPosted Sep 14, 2015
Hotel is steps from everything , perfect location yet couldn't hear any noise from all the action on Bourbon St. Room was nice , a little on the small side but we weren't in the room that much. Pool was great, they gave us two free drinks at the bar. And breakfast included free eggs, grits , and bacon what a treat. Can't go wrong if you're looking for quality , comfort , while also being close to the action.

Nice hotel - good area in proximity to FQPosted Sep 10, 2015
Pros: It was clean - room was spacious and quiet for being close to bourbon street. The drink coupon was nice !
Cons: Staff - concierge services. and front desk be more welcoming
Hotel staff were ok for what you would expect for a 3 star hotel. I would say they certainly did not go out of their way to help us - i.e. we asked where to catch the bus/train and the front desk guy remained on the phone and gave us a half answer in terms of directions. We asked if they could help us find some non-touristy places to eat... was suggested Oceana which is extremely touristy. I did not necessarily feel welcomed either...we asked for a late check out and instead of saying no ma'am I'm sorry we are unable to accommodate that request...it was NO we are way too busy this weekend, we have a full hotel.

Quiet Retreat yet Close to the ActionPosted Sep 4, 2015
Pros: The staff was simply amazing.
Cons: Limited reception WiFi access
Location: Perfect location in the French Quarter with Bourbon steps away, great creole/cajun food just around the corner & all major tourist sites close by
We really enjoyed our weekend get away in NOLA and a big part of that was the hotel staff at Hotel Le Marais. Pierre at the front desk was a welcomed host of knowledge and suggestions to go eat, the room was beautiful, the complimentary breakfast delicious and the bartender the BEST.
