This place was beautiful. The rooms were really small but that was not an issue. My wife has trouble sleeping in a bed because of back issues, so the room I chose had chairs in them, but unfortunately they weren't exactly the type you could sleep in. Not exactly the fault of the hotel, but when the bed was also as hard as it was, it made for a largely sleepless night. Again, this is more to health and personal preference than anything. Everything else about the place was amazing. If you stay there, leave your car parked safely in the lot & Uber everywhere. It's cheaper and safer than driving New Orleans.
One more thing, if you stay in the main motel you're fine. But we were in a separate building and there was not an elevator. They helped us up with our bags but I had to struggle to get them back down. If you have disabilities, please make sure you're in one of the newer buildings!
