Pros: Very interesting decorations. We could easily walk to the French Market and historic areas.
Cons: It took a while to get an extra chair.
Location: French Market close by, Bourban Street and historic area.
Everything was terrific at the hotel. The biggest downside is not really having great access to your vehicle. It's parked (by valet) in a parking garage quite a ways away. Other than that we have only the best compliments for the hotel and staff. Very helpful in finding us a good tour to take and ready to help with whatever else we needed. Rooms are very nice, ultra clean and bathrooms are very generous with a fabulous shower. It was quiet and the bed was fantastic! We both have bad backs and this was a huge boon to us.

They said it would be windowless but what they meant was it just didn't have a view. It was a cute little room with a roomy bathroom

Located just off the French Quarter. Nice location with very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I would highly recommend it.

Great location, great hotel lobby and bar!

Great friendly staff! Beds comfortable and had great city views in a corner king room. Just surprisingly quiet for the incredible swanky lobby bar and atmosphere. Too quiet surprisingly with the hotel location and vibe with lobby bar...this place should be hopping starting from happy hour until the wee hours of the night. Super cool decor and great bartender! Someone should really rethink their marketing strategy and get this place hopping. Also, there is NO restaurant on the premises but free Illy coffee and tea offered with granola bars and fruit every morning until 11 am. Overall great experience but a restaurant in hotel would make it convenient and a better value!

A/c was broken and fridge did not cool. Tech had to come out on day 2 of stay after suffering through the first night HOT to inform us that the a/c had frozen up...we had to move to another room. Eventhough they gave us an ugrade for day 2, we still suffered through our first night hot after reporting the a/c out on day 1. We did not get a tech out until the next night, over 24 hours later from initial report. We received a call late on day 2 we would get another room, however we had to stop our plans to move to another room late at night. Very nice hotel in walking distance to attractions, just not prompt with addressing the a/c and fridge issue promptly. Small room for the price.

Great hotel close to everything

I loved this hotel and the way they care about their guests. Tim was very welcoming from the personalized note in the room to the invite to stay again. It is close to everything (a short drive or walk if you prefer). Absolutely will be back here again ! Thank you so much to the wonderful staff :)

In town for marathon

Pros: Location, comfy room, quiet
Location: CBD,Quarter, restaurants, bars and clubs. Away from noise of Quarter, buta quick walk.
Picked IH because of location 2 blocks from start line, price and proximity to French Quarter. Friendly and welcoming staff, valet parking, cute bar and clean comfortable room. Free wifi, mini fridge in room. two blocks from edge of Quarter but far enough away to remain quiet. PF's and Starbucks coffee in walking distance (no coffee maker in room) Daisy Duke's 24 hour cafe just up the street. I have stayed at other nearby properties, but will return to IH next time in NOLA.
