This is not a safe place! Let’s start with the door. It was flimsy and when I shut it you could still see outside between the door and the frame. The whole place smelled like must and mold. The window could easily be popped if someone really wanted in. The desk chair’s pleather was almost completely gone, the tv didn’t have cable, the mattress didn’t have a cover on it and was COVERED in stains, the carpet was dirty and sticky, the bathroom had a black mold halo on the ceiling, and there was specks of blood on the bathroom wall (we are going with someone cut themselves shaving).
When I reloaded my car to get the heck out of there that it was around dark and the place started to liven up. Doors were open, there was a drug deal happening at one apartment, and I was ogled and harassed by men all standing at their hotel door.
I actually called my friend on speaker phone while telling the lady at the front desk I was checking out and why. She wouldn’t let me inside while she handled checking me out and mind you it's dark and there are a lot of men staring at me and hollering.
After being outside for 10 minutes she comes back to the door and asks me if I wanted to switch rooms. I said absolutely not.
I was issued a refund for all of my stay but one night. Since I was there panicking in my room for a hour I got billed for the night.
I spoke with the manager the next day and he was nice. There’s that.
I don’t know how this property has any positive reviews.
