Awkward entrance on a service road.

Staff needs to be better trained on check-in procedures. Grounds need to be spruced up. The overwhelming smoke smell throughout the facility was not pleasant.

Good location for our excursion to Jazz Fest

The hotel was very conveniently located right off the interstate. Loved that you could pay at hotel when you arrived and could change the payment from card to cash without any problems. Only bad thing was plumbing was not up to par. The toilet had issues flushing and the tub seemed to not want to stop flowing water after using shower from the faucet and shower head. Staff was friendly and stay was comfortable.

Pros: The location
Cons: The bathroom could you a "DEEP" scrub
Location: Fantastic location. Right off I-10. Surrounded by Wal-Mart, TA Truck Stop, Chili's and many other great shops & restaurants
The staff was awesome. The location was fantastic. Next to a Wal-Mart, TA gas station and many different restaurants. Clean rooms with comfortable beds & pillows. Beautiful swimming pool.

Cockroach Room

We were in the hotel room maybe an hour before discovering that there were cockroaches in our room. They came out when we turned the lights off and upon turning them back on they were on the nightstand next to the bed. I told the woman at the front desk and she was very rude about it. She wouldn't switch our room or help us find a new one. Expedia however did a fantastic job of getting our money back even though the Laquinta thought it was fair to charge us for our cockroach room. Terrible staff, rude, disgusting hotel, has cockroaches. Don't stay there.

Good Hotel close to New Orleans

Good Hotel, we stayed a couple of nights for a Weekend in NEw Orleans, good breakfast, right in the middle of restaurants, gas stations and close to the hwy.

Excellent service

Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: The roads to get the hotel are terribly confusing.
Location: Wal-Mart and several restaurants are located around the hotel and easy to get to.
We had a very late check in. Both the night and morning staff were awfully sweet to us. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Excellent stay.

Front Desk sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Frühstück übersichtlich. Roomservice sehr nett. Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Zimmer sauber. Kein Kühlschrank o. Micro! Dafür Starbucks und Walmart direkt nebenan. Unser Zimmer im 1. Stock war ziemlich laut da direkt an der Interstate.

Older facility but updated surfaces and clean. A little dissapointed in breakfast because they didn't have hot foods like most LA Quinta I have stayed at.
