Nice hotel with close walk to the sights.

The hotel was very nice and beds comfortable but it is a bit dated. They are currently renovating so I'm assuming it will get better soon. The staff was very nice and attentive. The location is great. A few blocks from Bourbon St and a short but nice walk to the French Quarter.

Good hotel, good location

Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Parking entrance driveway, too tight
Location: Downtown, everything is so close
I think it is a good place, location,,,location, everything is so close, right in down town, breakfast is good, overall is a good hotel

Expected better for the price and the name

Pros: Location only
Cons: Hire staff who actually cares about the customer experience.
Location: Great location
We have stayed at different La Quintas around the country but were disappointed in this one. The front desk staff was not helpful at all, then mis-coded my pool key so it stopped working the day before we checked out. The concierge was phony and gave us the chills - sent us 4 blocks away for lunch in the pouring rain when there was a much better diner right across the street. The bellman refused to acknowledge me when I was coming to get my luggage. Bed was uncomfortable, internet was horribly slow, and the cleanliness around the pool needed a lot of attention. We will consider La Quinta in the future but not this one. Sorry!

Find another hotel

The room was dirty. The air conditioner didn't cool the room enough. There was no refrigerator and no microwave. The water pressure was low and I could barely get my hair washed. I suggest finding another hotel. Not impressed with this one for the price.

Good location

Cons: The price of valet could be a little less.

It was within walking distance to most attractions, French Quarter, French Market, Bourbon street etc. The staff was very helpful in findIng restaurants and activities and in printing out directions to get to Baton Rouge.

Close to Canal and blocks from bourbon

The hotel was exactly what was to be expected. Staff was nice but a bit disorganized (no one covering front desk). Complimentary breakfast was nice.

Nice hotel close to French Quarter

This is the second time I've stayed here. It's within walking distance to everything. Staff are very friendly and it's very clean.

close enough to the French quarter since walking is the primary mode of travel for this excursion.

Good hotel, basic, but clean and spacious. Staff not very friendly, almost rude. Check in too forever.
