Great hotel and staff. Hotel is close to all of the attractions in New Orleans

Most disgusting hotel I've ever visited!!!!!

LE MERIDIEN NEW ORLEANS Hotel The most disgusting hotel I have ever visited. A complete waste of my time. We just checked into our rooms and to our surprise the mattress are completely filled with numerous of blood, urine, and feces stains all over the place including bed bugs. Supervisors are no help and refuse to take responsibility nor ownership and made it out to be our fault like we did something wrong. The manager on duty walked into the room and looked at the beds and said "wow this is really bad." The other supervisor stated it was not her job to check after housekeeping to ensure the cleanliness of the room, or else our rooms would not be ready. This is the most HORRIFIC THING I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. This hotel is by fare a 4 star rating and an absolute EMBARRASSMENT TO BE AFFILIATED WITH THE MARRIOTT HOTEL. General Manager Dale M. was very dismissive and nonchalant regarding the serverity of the situation. I expect more from a 4 star hotel and this is a nightmare!

Modern hotel close to the French Quarter

We arrived quite late at night for check in. We had to wait approximately 15 minutes in the valet area, as there was a large group taking up the entire drive through/drop off area. My husband was able to check us in quickly and we were escorted to our room. The Bell Man was very courteous and polite. Our room was clean and ready for us. It was tiny though. The bed was like a rock, not very comfortable at all. In the morning, we took a walk to the nearby French Quarter for breakfast. The hotel does not offer a complimentary breakfast. Upon our arrival back at the hotel, we requested a cart to take to our room so that we could load our luggage. We were informed that the hotel doesn't lend carts, you are required to use a Bell Man. We waited about 10 minutes for a Bell Man to arrive. He loaded our luggage and escorted us to our car. He was very kind. Right before leaving, we were offered bottles of water by the valet. This was a courteous offer since it was approaching 100 degreees. I would recommend this hotel to adults on vacation. I do not thing that this hotel was very conducive to family travel, especially those with small children.

Just one night stay.

Everything was ok. Just A/C was not working properly and maintenance have to come and change air filter. But they show up right the way. Also no real mini fridge, was just a cooler. Vallet parking! $45!!! Good location.

Clean hotel. Only stayed a night but overall a good experience. I'm a lightweight a germaphobe and have a hard time being comfortable in hotels. My room didn't raise any big alarms for cleanliness with me and I was able to sleep fine for the night.

Pros: clean and nice room location
Cons: too loud music; unhelpful staff;
staff not helpful; indifferent to the guests; reservation included breakfast, but the staff did not wish to honor that, blaming expedia for misleading clients

The lobby looks nice. The front staff was okay. They were more interested in getting an up sell than accommodating a guest who arrived early. The room was okay, but not the luxury hotel that I expected with le Meridien. It was more like a snooty Sheraton. The housekeeper left bloody sheets on the bed for three days to protect the environment (i.e. corporate profits).
