Solid hotel. Good location.

Great off-the-Quarter location. Great service, good room. Valet - like most NOLA hotels- is $50/ night.

Great hotel

I enjoyed my stay. The only thing that sucks is that you have to pay $50 for parking at the hotel which the add to your bill when you leave. Other than that I hotel staff were friendly and my room was nice. The bed was amazing.

Beautiful hotel

Beautiful hotel. Very clean. Hotel staff were extremely kind and welcoming. They offered complimentary coffee every morning and a free pass to two museums. This hotel is walking distance from the main streets (Canal, Bourbon) and across the street from the famous Mother's restaurant. Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops near by. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit New Orleans.

Didn't live up to expectation.

Construction around the pool area distracted from the relaxing evenings at the pool we hoped for. There wasn't a microwave in our room to heat up leftovers and the refrigerator didn't cool well enough to keep our beverages cold. The location was great, staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable.

In the heart of it all

Pros: The way it was decorated and the staff as well as the location.
Cons: The air conditioner had clunk to it periodically. At first I thought it was the noisy neighbor that could be heard through the adjoining door. :(
Location: Easy access to the Convention Center, Harrah's Casino and Mothers (The World's Best Baked Ham). It really was delicious.

Location... Location...

The staff at the front desk was not welcoming and assumed I knew where everything was (i.e. Pool, Elevator). I would recommend based off of location. It's within walking distance to everything you want to see, clean outside, and minimal congested traffic. Overall the room was tiny (walkout 300 sq. feet), stains and crumbs (had to give it a quick clean up). Expedia didn't help with the wording of Free Wifi... It's free Wifi regardless of which room you select BUT only in public spaces, if you want wifi in the room it will cost you.

I would stay there again!

my room was gorg.. Great views of the business district.. Walking distance to everything french quarter/ bourbon/ outlets/ mississippi river/ high end mall/ etc. Had a beautiful pool with plenty of lounge chairs/ cabanas. The gym had your basic necessities for working out. The decor was modern but cozy. the rooms carry Malin n Goetz (one of my fav skincare brands). The bar and restaraunt was top notch. Complimentary water bottles daily with house keeping. Also, complimentary coffee until 11. La meridian had everything i was looking for and i plan to stay again for sure.

Great location only blocks from Burbon street

The best part of the stay was the hotel staff. Everybody I came in contact with really made you feel welcome. I enjoyed being close to the French Quarter yet far enough away that it was quiet. I will return.

Great hotel in the heart of NOLA. Everything is in walking distance, French qtr, bourbon st, convention centres, harrahs is across the street, river walk and outlets are very close, etc.
