Clean hotel. Only stayed a night but overall a good experience. I'm a lightweight a germaphobe and have a hard time being comfortable in hotels. My room didn't raise any big alarms for cleanliness with me and I was able to sleep fine for the night.

excellent location; average facilities and service

Pros: clean and nice room location
Cons: too loud music; unhelpful staff;
staff not helpful; indifferent to the guests; reservation included breakfast, but the staff did not wish to honor that, blaming expedia for misleading clients

The lobby looks nice. The front staff was okay. They were more interested in getting an up sell than accommodating a guest who arrived early. The room was okay, but not the luxury hotel that I expected with le Meridien. It was more like a snooty Sheraton. The housekeeper left bloody sheets on the bed for three days to protect the environment (i.e. corporate profits).

Amazing Experience

Pros: The decor was wonderful and inviting.
Cons: Nothing. It was a perfect stay from beginning to end.
Location: The French Quarter, the Steamboat dinner cruise, the day tour, museums, the butterfly museum, shopping mall, aquarium, and outlet shopping.
The hotel is gorgeous! The food is amazing! The staff is incredibly professional and so wonderfully nice! The room was so tastefully done and cozy! The pool was fabulous!

Lovely staff at front desk

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The only negative thing I can say is that the neighbors next door were noisy. Perhaps make sure there are quiet hours?

Be Careful! No need to waste your money!

Pros: Clean, Trendy, Great Location
Cons: Expedia's website information is wrong!
Location: French Quarter is a short walk. Casino is across the street.
While the hotel itself was generally clean and convenient, be careful when booking through Expedia! Expedia will advertise the price for the Classic Room, which is identical to the more expensive Superior Room except that the Superior Room has River Views -- or so it says on Expedia's website. Once you arrive, the hotel will let you know that their own definition of Superior Room doesn't necessarily include a river view. So long story short.... I foolishly paid extra for a Superior Room with river views. What I received was what is described as a Classic Room on Expedia's website. There was no need for me to upgrade at all. What's worse is that Expedia has done everything in their power to avoid refunding me the difference. They even admitted on the phone that they made a "content error" on the website and STILL refused to refund me the difference. Don't book a Superior room, book a classic room there is really no difference. Don't pay more for no reason!

Staff Rocks! Location Perfect!

Well my stay started off with some issue. Things in room needed fixing. Trash in hallways. But within hours of my review on expedia, I was contacted by management. To help with issues and wanted my stay to be a good one..Love that! Didn't except it at all. Shout out to Mr.D Spencer for your care of me and my daughter. To Rasheeda who brought our room service with grace and joy! The Young Lady at the Bar..cant remember her name but she knew her drinks and loved the conversation. .This trip was for my 13 year old daughter's "Bucket List". So thanks again to your staff.!! We love Nola!!

Great location. Very nice staff. My only complaints are that the lobby is kept uncomfortably cold - not the place you want to hang out in too long. And the safe in our room was inoperable. The keypad was completely missing.
