Worth a Return Stay

Pros: The hotel is very attractive and comfortable - warm and friendly environment.
Cons: Manager and staff provide hotel and package benefits to customers and insure better professional and customer care and service.
Location: The location is within walking distance of all the events and attractions to fill your days.
As a very impressive hotel, our stay was the second time, and plans to return for a third time in the future. Everything about the hotel is makes for a memorable stay - staff - room - food - and location.

Super nice hotel centrally located

The hotel was very easy to get to and also very nice. The staff was very responsive to all our needs and could not have asked for a better location.

Close to French Quarter and Bourbon Street

Pros: The rooms were nice.
Cons: Housekeeping very loud very early in the morning.
Location: Everything close regarding entertainment
New ORLEANS was nice and plenty to do. French Quarter and Bourbon Street just 10 minute walk from hotel.

Quick Getaway

The Hotel is beautiful and the staff were very attentive. We were booked into our room quickly and professionally. Our first room had an issue with the hot water. The staff moved us to another room with any issues. Great customer service. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Elegant Hotel

Cons: They are in the midst of a restoration.....moderately inconvenienced.
Location: Location great , not in the midst of the French Quarter but close enough for an easy walk
Loved the ambience.....beautifully done(very elegant) From another era. Wonderful staff.

The chandeliers and friendly staff upon entering the location are amazing. Small comfortable rooms with all standard amenities. Just be sure to plan accordingly as there are no vending machines and the bar closes early if you require a late night snack or beverage.

Sugar Bowl Jan 2017

Pros: It is historic.
Cons: Hire new staff!
Location: NOLA is always fun however, if you want luxury hotel to stay in do not pick this one.
We arrived one day in advance for the Sugar Bowl Jan 2017 and booked what we thought was one of the best hotels in NOLA. However, the truth was quite the opposite. The room #314 we were given had just been refurbished and reeked of cigarette smoke on entrance. I went to take a shower and the selector handle came off in my hand not to mention that the sink would not drain. I complained about the cigarette smoke of which I am very allergenic to the hotel concierge. She was a very nice lady and said she would look into it. Apparently, the air conditioning ducts are connected from room to room and if one of the guest in the adjoining rooms is smoking it carries the smoke into the next room. I was informed that the Le Pavillon is a completely non-smoking hotel yet they did nothing. I complained again to the hotel desk personnel upon checkout and was greeted with rolled eyes. It appeared as if they could not get rid of me fast enough. I don’t normally complain and travel with my job all over the world but this was the worst customer service I have ever received. When you stay in a hotel and are told the entire hotel is non-smoking, I expect to receive a non-smoking room. Every bit of contents that we had in our room during our stay came back home with a strong cigarette smell. This is completely unacceptable and I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Luxury hotel…this is NOT!

Thank you for your honest feedback and please accept my sincere apology for the smoke smell that you experienced during your recent visit. We are 100% smoke free, however we can't control every aspect all of the time. We inform our housekeeping staff to alert management if they find any evidence of smoking so we can handle it quickly and efficiently. Doesn't sound like this happened and for this I am truly sorry. Disappointing Hotel

Much of the staff not very friendly. Two mornings no hot water and very noisy in the mornings starting at 8am. After Bourbon Street that is way too early. Disappointed overall.
