Convenient to the St. Charles streetcar

Pros: Location.
Cons: Housekeeping. Need to do better and making sure room is stocked with towels.
Location: Great location. Walking distance to WWII Museum. Very easy to get to French Quarter and rest of Garden District.
Hotel was charming in some ways. It was a little tired looking. Gym was not available. I was told it was being renovated. The pool was also closed much of the time I was there. The room was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping did not provide towels each day.

Horrible beds everything outdated. Worst stay for us in New Orleans. First room they put us in the ceilings were falling down

Good value, comfortable stay

Pros: I had a good nights sleep and the breakfast offers a good selection.
Cons: Housekeeping could have been better, they did not replenish the coffee and also forgot to replace the used towels they removed with clean ones.
Location: Some really nice restaurants along Charles - I ate at Emeril's Delmonico and Houston's and enjoyed delicious high quality meals at both.
First impression of the room was comfortable and spacious. Cleaning and decor was not immaculate but there was nothing unacceptable. The bed was huge, clean and very comfy. Bathroom was nice with a huge walk in shower.

Customer service

Everything good until time to check out 6/4/17, the customer service snapped at me and said my name is not in the computer I told her I stay 2 night and the last night I hang out in the lobby and talking to staff she just ignore me and act I am not in the front of her, I ask her again and she said you name is not in the computer!! Again with the attitude, very rude so I ask other customer service when I ask for manager the rude lady keep talking bad and snapped the manager ask her to take break time, she said she is fine and keep giving me attitude the manager just said so you taking care of and said I am sorry like not a big deal of her rude employee!!! I really don't care if that's the way she is talking but the other employee who sit in the other door said she is very rude!!! Hope someone else have my experience with this young lady!!! The young lady said I am the one give attitude? How am I giving bad attitude when I am standing in the front of her waiting her answer, and she keep looking in the computer like I am not there? Oh and I said good morning no greetings from her. 10:00 am she already in the bad mood???? One person make the rest of good service bad!! Plus the manager is not helping at all!!!!

Nice, quiet hotel

Pros: Quiet - away from the craziness of NOLA yet close enough to get there. Nice pool.
Location: WWII museum, Chicago Pizza restaurant with $3 bloody marys!
Nice, quiet hotel with easy access to public transportation to the French Quarter.

Only compliant we have is the curtain was too sheer and people can see through it. The big dark curtain doesnt close all the way.

Nice hotel

Pros: The hotel had a convenient location for access to the street car and was just a short ride to the French Quarter.
Cons: Air conditioner and door needs to be repaired
The hotel was nice, however the air conditioner setting could not be adjusted, so it was rather cold in the room. The door to the bathroom was coming off the hinges.

Good location not so good conditions

There was toothpaste splatter all over the mirror when we first walked into our room. There was a pair of someone else's underwear on top of the closet shelf. The valet was hardly ever there when we would pull in.

Fantastic stay

This hotel is in an excellent location. Within the garden district and across the street from the trolley. The staff were very friendly and professional. The hotel could use some updating and a deep cleaning, but the comfort of the hotel made up for this. The pool is refreshing especially after a day of sightseeing. We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed vibe of this hotel. It was a 3 star for the hotel itself, but 5 stars for the customer service, breakfast, and the easy access to restaurants and tourist attractions. We would recommend this hotel.
