The room itself was ok. But the elevator, halls were dirty and smelled bad. Looks like a shelter is being used here. Make sure to bring physical card as they don’t do Apple Pay. But front desk was very helpful with getting me booked. She was the only highlight I would say.

If you want a weekly or monthly stay with Section 8 or HUD housing this is your place. This is not a vacation rental or Hotel, this is a homeless shelter in New Orleans. Homework taped to doors, bicycles and bbq’s on every porch. Pool as nd Hot Tub are closed. Women of the night are outside and ready for night entertainment. Not safe for children or adults. Motel staff is unprofessional and rude. This is not a vacation resort or hotel. THIS IS A WEEKLY HOUSING FACILITY NOT A HOTEL OR MOTEL

The staff was great in particular the one woman who was in the front desk most often was really excellent. Down fall the lighting and hair dryer and the fact the the shower was difficult to get hot but from my understanding this is just past of New Orleans

The attendants at the property were so nice to me and made me feel at home, they helped me find things to do and places to eat at. I arrived at this venue extremely sad and they made my experience way better. My room was quiet and peaceful, the poolside was nice super clean and quiet. Anytime I needed to talk or help Ms. Carol was right there, everyone was really sweet.

Property had no hot water. I was instructed to let water run for max 45 minutes to warm up. It never did. I asked for refund but was moved rooms instead. The first room, door was broken so it wouldn’t lock. You could just open the door from outside without key card. Less than half the rooms were operational. Staff were more concerned about their personal conversations than actual work.

Nightmare on Tulane Ave.
I paid $220 a night to stay here. There was no warm water. Staff at the desk told me they got a new water heater and to just keep running the water. Mind you, this is 9pm on NYE and waiting for hot water was not in the plans. New hot water heaters produce hot water, but I guess he thought I was too stupid to know that? I ran the water for 30 minutes and it never got warm. I washed my hair in the sink instead. When I got back at 3am, my room key wasn’t working. The desk clerk dismissed me again and said “just keep trying it. I’m trying to help you here.” If this is “helping” a person, I need to apply for a job there so I can do absolutely nothing while customers pay extraordinary prices for terrible treatment. Thanks again!

Do not stay here!
This hotel shouldn't be considered a Hotel. The hot water was not working. There's no heat. The TV was broken only showing half of the picture. No coffee maker, no fridge, microwave. Bed covers has cigarette burns. The carpet was so dirty and stained. This hotel is terrible not worth staying at.

This hotel lacked basic amenities. Couch/chair, phone, water glasses, and much more. That being said, it was ok for the price. I would not recommend walking thru the area at night. Trolly was 6 blocks away and would not suggest walking that area at night.

Not a good place to stay.
Not a pleasant stay at all, not clean, not secure, and staff that was not respectful. The windows in the rooms open and the door did not lock with key cards. Lobby and building front do not represent the rest of the hotel

Inexpensive great stay!
Excellent old hotel. Very close to downtown and the courthouse. Very friendly staff and very accommodating. I had a problem with my room and they switched me out immediately.

They didn’t clean the room on our second day there. Water bug was in bathroom alive. It’s still in the room somewhere cause I’m wasn’t killing it. The night time guy at the desk was GREATTT. Not a bad stay I might try it The elevator smells Smokey, the vent needs to be cleaned full of dusk

The staff was kind at check-in, but we were told the rooms wouldn't be ready until around 3:30 and were not given a reason. One of the rooms we were given keys to still had someone in them. No hot water to speak of. In one bathroom, we had to kill more than one roach/palmetto bug. There were gaping holes in the drywall in our room. Not worth the price, IMO. Won't be back.
