Cost of parking is horrendous and unpredictable

We paid $20 for parking each night but were held hostage and had to pay $3 extra to get out of the lot. Prepaid Breakfast was not good. Service ok but food was poor quality. Best western buffet is better and covered by much lower room rate. I should get a $46 refund....$20 x 2 for breakfast and $3 x 2 for parking. Will never use expedia again. Plus there is an extra $30 visa charge hanging over my account....$328 which should be $293 plus $3.50 bottle of water... Which is a rip off for water. Felt like I got charged hospital room charges.

no ammenities

Pros: Having a restaurant and bistro in the building .
Cons: Ammenities and booking agent knowing about the hotel.
Location: Tour New Orleans, fine restaurants, especially the smaller- mom and pop ones.
We are used to having a mini fridge and microwave. There were none unless you ask,when you book, and only a fridge. Cheap with coffee in the room, only coffee for two one time. We also were guaranteed a ground floor room, due to our handicaps, but when we arrived the first floor was on the 9th floor. Shower around the wall was filthy. Other than that it was good.

It was nice

Cons: Needs to be cleaned and restocked every day!
Location: The location is good, close to New Orleans.
It was a very nice room, great views, and the bed was amazing. But I did not like the fact that they never came to get our breakfast trays from the morning and they stayed in the room the entire day. Nor did I appreciate the fact that I had to walk down and get towels because the room was never restocked throughout the week neither was it cleaned the entire weekend. The staff were friendly and the valet was very nice gentleman, always had a smile. But the amount I spent on the room, it should have been cleaned and restocked every day. I would recommend this hotel because of the nice big rooms and the bed was the best bed I have ever slept in!

Great Hotel, comfortable and relaxing

Pros: The comfort and the convience
Cons: the fact that they charge for valet when you are already paying a pretty for the hotel stay i feel that should be automatically given to hotel guest.
Location: location is great wonderful restuarants and the mall is near.
Overall this hotel is very nice i enjoy staying here, i find it very cozy and relaxing love the atmosphere and the staff is always pleasant.

middle of no where with out any amenities

Pros: cleanliness
Cons: service and perks. Perhaps courtesy rides to attractions .
Location: Nothing is near by. You can't even walk to anything except the lake walk. Boring!
called several times for supplies, but never received them. I finally found a maid and she was very nice and supplied them to me, but not until after I tracked her down. The front desk personal kept me waiting and were all just hanging out talking to each other. The hotel was clean, but for the cost, it was disappointing.

Pros: View was ok . Not impressive overall; bed was comfortable
Cons: Average hotel with an expensive price tag. The parking arrangement is annoying and valet is super slow

Nice hotel close to the French Quarter

Very nice hotel, great staff and accommodations and we got a great price! Good driving distance to the French Quarter. Would definitely stay here again!

Hot and bothered

Pros: -The view was great. It was Lake Pontchartrain and the tennis courts and basketball court
Cons: As much as you all charge for a room, parking should be complimentary. As well as not having a mini fridge. I did find out about requesting one.
Location: Near the Lakeside mall
Traveling on business and it was an overnight stay. I was shocked that I had to pay for parking. It is a flat rate for valet. If you plan to be in and out, no extra charge. Self parking I don't advice bc you will pay more. - a great security feature is swiping the room key to get to your room in the elevator. -I requested a king bed and was giving two full size beds. - I love a cold room. It was hot when I walked in. The thermostat went as low as 65 degrees. I really like it colder. - The bed was really firm. I woke up a little stiff.
