Prince Conti

Posted Mar 25, 2017
Prince Conti was a very good value. It was clean and comfortable. It was not Luxury but worked very well as a base for exploring New Orleans especially the French Quarter. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the coffe and breakfast in their cafe was excellent

Nice hotel in the French Quarter

Posted Mar 15, 2017
Pros: Our room was very nice and staff was above average.
Cons: Cleanliness of the bathroom
Location: Very close to Bourbon St., St. Peter's square, New Orleans & Katrina museums, a host of restaurants and bars, down the street from Canal St.
This hotel is about a 15 minute drive from the airport and very easy to find. We did have an issue with parking but it was because some delivery drivers had the driveway to the hotel blocked, but hotel staff recognized the problem and promptly had them move by the time we drove back around the block. All the staff that we came in contact with was nice and helpful, willingly giving us recommendations and directions when we asked for restaurant advice. Our room was nice and clean. Our only real complaint is that the bathroom wasn't cleaned, even after requesting twice for it to be done. Perhaps cleaning the bathroom isn't part of their maid service, but they said they would take care of it and they didn't. There was a dirty spot/smudge on the outside of the toilet. I'm unsure if it was blood or feces, but I do know that it was disgusting. My husband noticed the night we arrived but I noticed the next day. We promptly requested it be cleaned, the front desk lady said she would call right up but when we returned that night it was still there. We requested again the next day and it still wasn't cleaned. It was easy to see had it been looked for so I'm not sure what the excuse was, and I didn't care to get one. Other than that slight misstep on their part, everything else about our stay was very pleasant. And again, staff was very friendly and helpful (except for getting the bathroom clean).

You get what you pay for.

Close to Bourbon, so if you want action and don't mind the constant noise.... Comfortable beds. Housekeeping did not do a thorough job. Leftover soap from last people and things like that which make a bad impression. Door to room was bad, my son was able to get it open with a credit card. However, they had a bolted down safe, so we put our valuables in there when we left. The hotel bar, The Bombay Club, had a very nice happy hour, jazz music, quiet, dark, friendly staff.

Very nice hotel, just steps from Bourbon Street.

Posted Mar 10, 2017
Pros: Location, staff, cleanliness.
Cons: Put an ice maker on every floor.
Location: The museums are great!
This is a very nice hotel, at an extremely reasonable price. I visit New Orleans very often to visit the World War II Museum, and always try to stay at the Prince Conti. The location can't be beat. Nice restaurants are within steps.

Close to Bourbon

Posted Mar 8, 2017
Pros: location
Cons: free breakfast maybe......
Location: the entire French Quarter..literally 100 feet from Bourbon Street if that...
Rooms are small but that is the style of most rooms on or near Bourbon Street so lower your expectations in that regard, the staff was friendly and the bed was comfy, the location is what this reservation was all about and there was no problem there. I paid around 120 on Wed. the day after Mardi Gras, I have no idea what this would cost on a weekend. Good cafe right next to the hotel.....plenty of towels and toiletries....That's about it. I have no complaints.....

Good location inside the French Quarter

Posted Feb 20, 2017
Cons: I wish the front desk would've given me more info upon arrival (e.g., you can save 10% in our breakfast place if you stay with us,
The hotel is ok and the price is reasonable.
