Close to everything you could want or need.

Pros: In the French Quarter and pleasant staff.
Cons: The elevator wasn't air conditioned and it was a slow ride!
Location: You can basically walk anywhere you need to go. Shops, restaurants, museums, galleries, music, walking tours, and the awesome pedi-cabs.
When we checked in we told the front desk we were there for our 25th wedding anniversary. When we got to the room there was a knock on the door and it was the concierge with a bottle of champagne and two glasses! Unfortunately we do not drink but the gesture was lovely!!! We will be keeping the card that she hand wrote, very sweet. They got us cabs and directions. It was very relaxing. Yes the wallpaper had a few little tears and we didn't have a room with a balcony but we never heard street noise and we were treated well. Thank you for being a part of a magical vacation!!!

Centrally located. Service needs improvement.

Stay was excellent. Checkin was great we received an excellent room. However, our room flooded the first nite. Response was slow. Transferred to much lesser room, which I assume the staff was aware of. We were hurried into the room and left there, no questions asked. Bell staff immediate disappeared after brining up luggage. Had to call down to express displeasure after which staff finally responded and send someone up for a room upgrade several hours later. This should have been handled as such from the start. Our bed and clothes were soaked from the water flooding through the ceiling. We missed a booked tour and time with friends and no one cared. A bottle of champagne was finally send up for the inconvenience. I have a feeling, if we would have just accepted the second lesser room and never complained, nothing would have been done to rectify the situation. Never received as much as an apology. Particular at check out the clerk was extremely unpleasant and rude, completely uninterested in our stay or experience. Having worked in the hospitality industry for years, this is definately NOT how a guest situation should be handled. Disappointed.

Lovely, quiet hotel near everything!

Posted Apr 29, 2016
Pros: location and small size.
Cons: update furnishings
Location: close to everything.
We had a lovely room very quiet and well appointed. The staff is friendly and helpful. Nice dining room and nightly music was a respite from the frenzy of Bourbon Street.

Good location in the french quarter

Posted Apr 26, 2016
Pros: Convenience
Cons: Feed faster internet into a very good wifi system.
Half a block off Bourbon St on Conti and plenty quiet. The noisiest activities are the other way. The only problem was slow internet at any time of day (so not an issue of being busy). Made it difficult to even read the papers while you had your morning coffee.

Nice hotel not very far from bourbon street .

For the weather the room was to cool for my taste , but that was easily corrected by turning up the thermostate , great view of the street , also close to most streets in question bourbon etc.

One block off burbon street. 6 blocks from the Mississippi River walk. Lots to do an see close by. Food was awesome at Conti Café. Service was wonderful. Received a bottle champagne from the desk to celebrate our honeymoon. Highly recommend!

We have stayed at the Prince Conti many times and have always been pleased. Its proximity to Bourbon Street, Canal Street, and many other atteactions makes it a winner in my book

Great location, good value off-season

Posted Apr 21, 2016
Pros: Ambiance.
Cons: n/a
Location: Great location, around the corner from Bourbon Street.
Loved the look and feel of the property; the cafe and the Bombay Club. Did not like that the only available parking required mandatory valet where they keep your keys and move your car around across three lots to accommodate other cars while you are not using it. Concerned about safety and security of car and contents. Most of the staff went above and beyond but a couple of the front desk staff could be pretty short.

Convenient to French Quarter.

Posted Apr 20, 2016
Pros: Convenient
Cons: Update the rooms. Add electrical outlets.
Location: In the French Quarter. If that is what you are after - great location.
Good location near the French Quarter. Staff not very attentive. Old facility - looks like it should be haunted. Could use some updating. Not enough electrical outlets unless you unplug a lamp or two.

Two night stay

Posted Apr 18, 2016
Pros: Location.
Only went for two nights, wished we had stayed longer! Staff were very friendly and helpful. We thought the hotel and our room were really clean. Very central hotel, just yards from Bourbon Street. I've recommended this hotel to my parents (who are in their seventies) as it is so central. Felt very safe, lots to see and do. Looking forward to returning next year, however, we'll definitely stay for longer than two nights next time...loved it! Thank you.
