Great spot in the French Quarter

Posted Jul 23, 2016
Pros: Very helpful staff.
Cons: Updated showers and more counter space in the bathroom.
Location: Close to the action on Bourbon Street.
The hotel was well located in the French Quarter. Parking is expensive but we chose not to use it. Rooms were clean but a little noisy at night when Bourbon Street bands were playing. The overall experience was good.

Nice hotel close to Bourbon Street.

Posted Jul 4, 2016
Bathroom was very small, but the bed was comfortable and it was nice being so close to Bourbon Street. Parking seemed a little pricey to me. It was 38 after taxes per night.

Nice hotel just off of Bourbon St.

Posted Jul 1, 2016
Pros: Clean room and the Bombay Club.
Location: French Quarter is just right out the door.
Stayed here two nights and it was really nice. The Bombay Club is a hidden jewel in the French Quarter. The room was very clean and comfy. Staff was very attentive and the guys that valet were awesome. Would recommend.

Close to Bourbon

Posted Jun 25, 2016
Pros: The cost was great, The staff was amazing!
Cons: Carpet was old and needs to be replaced. The door to the rooms were very thin and didn't block out any sound.
Location: Very close to Bourbon St. Some great places to eat all over the French Quarter.
The staff was great! Very helpful and friendly. The bed was great and we liked the bathroom. It had a great bathtub and was clean. The doors to the hallway are very thin, so any noise in the hall will be heard in the room. The location was good, a little close to Bourbon st. for a family. Music and street noise could be heard from our room, not a lot, but enough to keep you up if your a light sleeper. For the money, we were very pleased with what we paid for.

Authentic French Quarter Hotel

Posted Jun 15, 2016
This hotel was definitely not The Ritz, but for the money and location it's a good bargain. The staff are all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. My room was just okay, when I first walked in it reeked as if someone had just taken a smoke break in it. The walls are also paper thin so I could easily hear noise in the hall and in the rooms next door. The good thing about this hotel was definitely location (a half a block from Bourbon Street) and the price. It's located on a quiet street but still close enough to the action. I had a haunting experience at this hotel which I won't get into but I have read that this hotel is haunted (after my midnight experience) I wouldn't stay again for that reason unless I had a friend with me ;) But this really wasn't a bad hotel.

Bad customer service

Posted Jun 7, 2016
Rude customer service when we checked in. The front desk did not know where the room was. They made me bring all my luggage up 2 flights of stairs. Will not return back to this hotel

Convenient location to activities and restaurants

Posted May 27, 2016
This hotel is located close to activities in the French Quarter and the Mississippi River and one does not need a car. So if you are traveling by air, just take the airport shuttle and forget the hassle of the crazy traffic and expense. You can walk or get local transportation super easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel exhibits the quaintness of the historical past, but with the modern conveniences.
