Pictures are misleading

Posted Jun 25, 2016
My room's air conditioning system wasn't working properly and the staff was extremely rude and belligerent and hung up on me when I complained about being moved to another room due to the 100 degrees heat index outside and my room feeling as if it was 80 degrees.

Pros: Proximity to the Airport
Location: Sketchy area. Don't get turned around on side streets if you venture out looking for a grocery/convenience store, especially after dark.
The staff seemed friendly and check in was easy. The room was plain and cold. Linoleum floors in room looked clean but I still didn't want to walk barefoot on them. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. Laundry facilities were in need of cleaning but fine overall. The "Business Center" was a joke- non working printer, disgusting keyboard and complete lack of privacy. A change machine would have been nice for the vending machines and washers and dryers, but the front desk was able to make change for us.

Thank you for letting us know about your stay here in New Orleans. We are working hard on getting the property updated and fresh the new flooring and bedding were a great start we have also completed the painting. I have forwarded the information about a change machine and the business center to the owners

Drugs

Posted May 12, 2016
Pros: The daytime staff was much more professional than the night staff. The shuttle driver was excellent.
Upon checking in, hotel staff was talking about smoking weed in the lobby. The whole 5th floor smelled of weed and was extremely loud. Checked into my first room to find the air conditioner not working. Called the front desk to change room. Went downstairs to obtain a new key and the lobby reeked of weed. Air conditioner worked in the second room, but the overall cleanliness of the room was terrible. There were bugs in the room and the sheets felt nasty. At this point it was 11 pm and I had a 5am flight. That is the only reason I stayed the night.

Enjoyable Staff and Stay, Thank You

Posted May 6, 2016
I was quite impressed, by conversations I was totally misinformed. I Enjoyed my Stay as it was neat and clean. Yes I will stay again, My only request would be having the shuttle run more frequent than 1 an hour.

Thank you for letting us know about your stay. We are working hard on making improvements and I can see that it is working. We will let the owners know about the shuttle running more often for their consideration. Once again thank you for staying with us.

Just a 2 star hotel

Posted May 3, 2016
Mostl of the staff (especially Mary, Herb and Marcia) were super great and helpfull.) However, the manager had to be drunk, drugged and seemed to my husband and I that she was both. We've never seen anyone like her in a managerial position. Neither of us wants to get anyone in trouble (she was nice, if nothing else) but surely she's been fired by now. We won't mention her name but we would never go back and mostly because of her strange behavior.

Pros: Absolute nothing.
Cons: Everything
Location: Not close to anything as I was told. It was expensive for cab fare to all places we wanted to go. The only transportation that was free was from
Took a while to check in. The room was dirty. The bed was awful. When you sat on the bed, the mattress went almost down to the floor. We told the front desk about this problem but they didn't do anything. Didn't feel safe staying there at all. The police showed up at least twice that I know of and an ambulance once. The owner was very loud and walked around bossing the employees in front of the guests.

Nice pictures but horrible hotel.

Room was humid, dirty, ac went out. Staff didn't want to move us up to where there was wood floor rooms, or they didn't want to reimburse our money.
