Uncooperative!

Posted Feb 6, 2016
Mistakenly booked and paid for a smoking room. The front desk clerk would not (or could not) switch us to a nonsmoking room, and we ended up having to pay for a nonsmoking room. One room for one night but paid for two room. We are not happy.

Ok for the price

Pros: The staff
Cons: ?
Location: Noisy
The hotel was ok. Right next to a bar so there was noise until late at night. The staff however were extremely nice and accommodating.

Slow and not very competent

Posted Nov 17, 2015
It took me over thirty minutes to check in. After waiting behind a family for almost 20 minutes it took almost 15 to get myself checked in. When in the shower the exhaust fan blew cigarette smoke in to my room. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke so I ended up with a killer headache. Then the Internet shut off for about a half an hour. In the morning I never received the wake up call I requested.

Overall quite nice.

Clean room, comfortable bed, breakfast was fine. Free shuttle to airport is a nice perk. Cons: Close to interstate which means fairly noisy.

Disappointing hotel with deceiving name

Posted Nov 9, 2015
Pros: close to airport
Cons: invest in your hotel
Location: airport 5-10 min drive away
First off, when we booked the room, this was a Sleep Inn. There was a lot of confusion about whether we were in the right place or not. I would've appreciated a little heads up from Expedia that the hotel had changed hands since we had booked. We then walked in to see a man with tattoos drinking beer hanging out at the front desk. The front desk checked us in and asked for our credit card to charge the price of the hotel-- yet, we had already paid for it when I booked the room. She then says she doesn't know why she needs the credit card but just knows that she does. My husband and I decide it must be for incidentals (she had no clue). We then get an emailed bill later that day (their printer wasn't working) seeing the hotel had been charged to us again (I had my original receipt from Expedia with me). We're already out of there so I decide to fix it when I get home. The room itself looked nothing like the pictures. The carpet was from an office building, and the bathroom looked like it was from a prison. My husband and I were hysterical with laughter about what we had gotten ourselves into. Fortunately, we were only there a few hours before catching a flight to our real vacation.

Bad smelling rooms

Posted Oct 21, 2015
Pros: Bedding was very comfortable
walked into the room after checking in and the room had a horrible smell more so then just shut up. never did find the source of the smell but had to leave the window open the entire time. Also, not in a great neighbor once the sun goes down

Great location!!! A lot of store near the hotel so you can walk to get food. Next door to a club that has great frozen drinks and food

The evening upon arrival, staff were very nice and welcoming. In the morning, when we requested a late check-out the lady was quite rude and said we had to vacate our room immediately as it was check-out time.
