Close to the action but not noisy

Posted Jul 19, 2016
Pros: Close to restaurants & the French Quarter; Quiet; Great hotel staff service
Location: French Quarter area (bourbon street - 7 min walk); Riverwalk (10 min walk); Jackson Square (15 min walk); Luke's restaurant (10 min walk)
We stayed at the Renaissance and loved the location. It was 2 blocks from Bourbon street and was very walkable to restaurants, the French Quarters, the Riverwalk, Jackson Square, etc. While it was only 2 blocks away from the action, the hotel itself was very quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations, maps, and directions. We were able to have our shuttle drop us off and pick us up directly from the hotel. The hotel had a restaurant, bar, and starbucks inside. The only issue we had was that the water would sometimes take a while to get warm or the pressure would vary slightly. Not a huge issue. The room was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was large. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Clean, comfortable, and welcoming!

Posted Jul 19, 2016
The staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean, showers had great water pressure and bed was soft and comfortable! We are definitely coming back here on our return trips to the NOLA!! Close enough to popular touristy hot spots but away from the noise. There's a lovely bar as well.

1 Block from Bourbon

Posted May 16, 2016
Pros: Location, front desk staff, concierge, bell hops
Cons: Pillows, more seating in room, clean carpets in hall.
Location: 1 block from bourbon street, french quarter and trolley. Walking distance from great restaurants.
The hotel wasn't bad, but definitely not the best. But it was clean, and the staff was amazing.

Small room during Jazz Fest

Posted May 3, 2016
This was the least expensive French Quarter hotel we could find during Jazz Fest. It was very cramped. Otherwise, the stay was ok.
