"Beautiful hotel located at the end of bourbon street in the quiet side of the French Quarter! The property is extremely clean, well maintained pool, walking distance to everything. "We loved staying at this hotel that has been totally refurbished!! Beautiful and comfortable!! The only difficulty was due to the age of the building the floors were very noisy, but still worth the stay"
"While the Royal Sonesta is directly on Bourbon St, it feels like a world away once you walk in the doors. The reception area is spacious and well appointed, staff friendly and helpful, and the rooms comfortable and clean. My room was overlooking a side street and was one room away from bourbon st and while I did hear some noise at night it was not disruptive to sleep at all! The large rooftop patio and pool was an oasis on the hot afternoons. Highly recommend. "
