Great location in the French quarter, away from the craziness of Bourbon St but still a very short walk to get there. Streets in the area are VERY small but this hotel has a great setup for parking for the valet compared to others in the French quarter.
Great location on the edge of the French Quarter, but can’t hear the noise of Bourbon street! The hotel room was spacious and newer.
Nice hotel. Right near the French Quater. Walking distance to every where. Happy that we booked here
Hotel was neat. They kept the hotel pretty original and decorate everything so if feels like you are going back in time. I can’t remember staying in a hotel like this in the U.S. before. Very unique. Everything was very clean. Rooms even had an actual key and I think our door was the original door. ...
Convenient to river walk and convention center, Breakfast buffet was too pricey for the quality of food that was served
Clean hotel, friendly staff. Right at the center of all the action. Only blocks away from Bourbon street. Everything is within walking distance.
It was a great experience in New Orleans. My wife and I had a great time at the Omni Resort.
The staff was friendly and I felt safe while staying there.
Nice rooms, clean but small. Safe is in the closet on the floor, not easy to get to. Check out via the TV service did not work. We were by the "staff\room service" elevator and there was some noise, but not too bad. Great bar in the hotel. Staff was very friendly.
IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE SIX STARS I WOULD. OUTSTANDING PLACE TO STAY. VERY CLEAN AND CLOSE TO EVERYTHING.
Friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable, but unfortunately poor soundproofing so we could hear everything going on around us. Activity which sounded like thundrous bowling started at 4:30AM . Might be better on an upper floor, away from the pool.
Concierge wasn’t much help. Couldn’t get us into anything we liked, never answered his phone. Jazz Playhouse is a must. Desire had good food, but oysters were consistently gritty.
The hotel itself was beautiful. There was road construction in front of the hotel - obviously no fault of the hotel - but caused congestion in traffic.
Loved the room and staff. Only problem we had was not much choice on eating.
So much fun staying in a place with so much character instead of brand new, sterile, stainless steel and glass.
We appreciated the closeness to all the different areas and the convenience of stores, restaurants very close by. We were within walking distance to so many museums, restaurants and entertainment.
Stayed here for NYE and Sugar Bowl. Most hotels in New Orleans are nasty, so I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Friendly staff and it was rather clean. A good find! Uber prices weren't as bad as I thought they would be with surge pricing. There was one thing... they didn't throw out the old ...
Great location just a few blocks north of Bourbon St. Easy walk to restaurants, historic sites.
