Leuk hotel met vriendelijke bediening, hotel is net maar kan een likje verf gebruiken en het ontbijt stelt niet zo veel voor. Wel mooi gezellig klein hotelletje

Great location.

Posted Aug 23, 2015
Pros: Love the "New Orleans" look outside.
Location: Close to Canal Street Shops. Walking distance to Jackson Square, Cafe de Monde, the trolley, the street cars, tours, great restaurants and more.
Staff made you feel very welcome. They were very helpful with plans and making bookings.

Nice Hotel

Nice hotel. The staff was very helpful in accommodating my every need. The only thing I would add is a full breakfast, not just, pastry, coffee, tea, and orange juice.

près du quartier français

très belle hôtel, mais le petit déjeuner se limite a un croissant un jus d'orange et un café servi à la chambre. Il va s'en dire que pour une journée de visite, le petit déjeuner n'est pas soutenant

Very nice room and amenities

Posted Aug 1, 2015
Pros: AM croissants are a nice touch.
Cons: Try harder to deliver croissants and coffee within the half-hour time frame requested
Location: Mother's restaurant is great and just around the corner. Walk a few short blocks to the French Quarter or Audubon/IMAX
Check-in was smooth, although we had to wait until the "official" check-in time of 3PM. Nice large room, good Wi-Fi mostly consistent. Nice people, quiet, good bed. Croissants and coffee each AM are a nice plus. Convenient walk to French Quarter.

Nice hotel near French Quarter

Posted Jul 30, 2015
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, character
Cons: loud breakfast service
Location: Canal St, French Quarter, riverfront, casino
The staff were friendly and helpful at check in. The beautiful old building featured a few courtyards and fountains. The room was relatively modern and comfortable, with high ceilings that made the place feel more spacious. If you wish, complimentary breakfast is delivered to your door in the morning. However, if you are looking to sleep past 7 am (the earliest scheduled breakfast delivery), you might be woken up by hotel staff knocking on doors to deliver your neighbors' breakfasts.

Disappointed

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: -
Cons: Everything. The floors had sooooo many white spots it was ridiculous. The door covering the fridge would not close because it was broken. The curtains
I called ahead to see if I could check in early due to an early arrival. I was informed I could not due to the hotel being full. I actually don't understand that if check-out is at or before noon. That means my room should have been vacated. However, it's busy so okay can understand. I finally get to the hotel and was allowed to store my belongings, thankfully. But they were never put away in the storage closet with everyone else's things. Then 3 pm comes around and I still have to wait to check-in. I was finally able to check-in a little after 3:30 pm. I get to my room and chill out for a bit and weirdly enough someone enters my room with their key card. The hotel staff allocated my room to another couple as well. We both went to the front desk to get the situation rectified. It was. Then when I was ready to shower, I realized my shower and the shower pad had someone else's hair in it and on it. There was also someone else's hair in the sink. I don't like other peoples hair!

Nice hotel handy to the french quarter

Posted Jul 19, 2015
Nice hotel, big room. Hotel receptionist very helpful with where to eat, things to do, getting around & told us about cheapier parking opposite the hotel rather than use the hotel valet. Good internet connection. Continental breakfast bit of a joke, you pre order a croissant, coffee & oj & its delivered to your room at a set time. Was late both mornings (over an hour first morning) & my partner felt it was a bit light for him.

Good Location - Good Value

Posted Jul 16, 2015
Pros: Very reasonable prices for a nice room.
Cons: Check In area could be dressed up somewhat and located out of the main walkway into the building.
Location: Good location within a short walk to the French Quarter and Riverwalk shops.
The hotel has a good location between Canal St. & Poydras St. close to the French Quarter. The lobby is currently being renovated and is somewhat disorganized; however the rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel staff were friendly. Several public parking lots are close to the hotel, so you don't have to valet park. The hotel doesn't have some of the other amenities, such as pool and gym, but is a good value for somewhere clean and comfortable to sleep and rest your feet. Overall this hotel is one of the best values of all that I have stayed in this area.

Great hotel close to everything

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: It was close enough to the French Quarter and other attractions but not too close to miss a good night's rest.
My husband and I stayed only one night but were still impressed. The room was great with just enough space for the two of us, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and well stocked with towels and necessities. Our room also had wood floors which was great compared to the dingy carpets usually found in most hotels. We didn't get a chance to try the complimentary croissants since we were getting breakfast when we left but they provide a form to hang on your door to request a delivery time. The lobby is undergoing some renovation but it didn't really impact us because our room was located in the other building. The seating area off the lobby was great for waiting for pickup after we checked out as well. We also loved the courtyards and felt like they added a little charm to the property. The only real issue was a squeaky floor above us but it served as something to laugh about.
