We had a nice room facing the courtyard for a six-night stay. Small heated pool in the courtyard was nice, we used it three time. Room, beds and bath were nice (rain shower was okay, but needed to be like 6" more out from the wall as it didn't have enough pressure to get more than ~2' from the front wall of shower. A couple of the front desk staff were good and helpful; a couple, not so much. But location is great and prices okay. We'd stay here again.

I didn’t receive the exact room that I booked that was advertised, and for the amount of money I paid it was somewhat disappointing. The staff had horrible customer service skills and didn’t give me a receipt when I paid the deposit with cash and had a hassle about it apon checking out. Will I rebook again “No”

No latch on bathroom door. Had to put rug against door to keep from swinging inward. Kids could pull it outward. Room service not available until 7:30. Coffee from nespresso machine was not good.

The W is in the heart of the French quarters, and we were there for essence fest and after a certain time they block the major streets off so it's almost impossible to get door to door service. You always have to get out and walk a few blocks and that's not bad but after a night out of drinking and wearing heels and the heat it's a bit much.

The pool and seating area around the pool was not cleaned daily. I could tell that the pool water had not been filtered or chemical check done during our stay. It just gave an iky nasty feeling while being there. Also there should be a pool bar service offered. It’s way too hot to not want to indulge in the pool, but when you look at the up keep of the area it’s not inviting to say the least.

Unfortunately, this property didn't give me customary W vibes in terms of accommodations. Looks to have maybe been a hotel takeover that they made W-like. Poor cutting of carpet was SO evident in the room, furniture was dingy and old, room decor was just not neat and felt like DIY remodeling. Also for the ladies: THE LIGHTING IN THE ROOM IS TERRIBLE! Imagine applying makeup and lashes by candlelight. I ended up forgoing makeup out of fear of what it would look like once I stepped outside. Two, warm (orange/yellow tint) recessed lights in bathroom- it was SO dark. I was so disappointed. My BF couldn't even shave his head it was so dark. Front desk staff - extremely hospitable. Overall: Simply wouldn't stay there due to not being able to perform any vacay self-care like I wanted :(

Clean room, great location. There was some maintenance noise during the day (a leaf blower from the sound of it), but it didn't last too long. Far enough away from the partiers on Bourbon Street, but definitely close to everything. Very friendly staff. Wifi was not free, my biggest complaint.

Great staff very dark
Staff was wonderful & very friendly. Found the room to be very dark, don't understand the paint color/design choices-seem tacky/dated. Bathroom was so dark i had trouble applying makeup. Location of hotel was very convenient to french quarter hot spots.

The location is fantastic close to everything you want in New Orleans. Restaurants, bars, shopping are just a few steps away. The rooms are cozy but are on the smaller size so be prepared.

The W hotel is a great location in the French Quarter. The room we receive was one of the first renovated rooms in the hotel and was very cool. The renovation will continue for the next few months.

My husband and I stayed at the W this past week and had a blast! We experienced Nola like no other, met incredible people, and ate delicious food. We’d highly recommend the W to anyone staying in the French Quarter because of its location, cleanliness and most of all hospitality! First is Chef Nick, he couldn’t be more of a kind human and amazing chef!! My husband loves cooking and is fascinated with anything involving food and restaurants and Chef Nick answered his questions with pleasure and even offered advice on what to do while making certain things. He’s not only very kind but the food was to die for!! And then there’s Bret the bartender who made our first impression of Nola memorable, almost every night we’d end the day with stories and laughs that we’ll never forget. Thank you W we will be back!! ❤️

It's hard to believe the pictures of this property are real until you are standing in that beautiful courtyard yourself. The rooms are unique as they are comfortable. Every single person was so helpful and accommodating. Would never risk making an reservation anywhere else. This is the one to beat!

Great location very friendly staff. The only thing we did not care for was the glass wall for the bathroom. We can see it as a great idea. But practically very uncomfortable for a family and or friends staying in same room.

We had a great time hanging out in the courtyard. The pool is heated to perfection. Restaurant is very good and they do room service. Couldn't be in a better location, we walked everywhere. Keep it up, we will be back!

The property is not what I expected for W. Seemed not as high quality furniture, one very small window without street view. No regular coffee/tea maker, only Espresso. The daily punch was tasty and they do provide bottled water for free. The area is great, a lot of good restaurants and can walk to many places. ,

Being a historic hotel in the French Quarter, no alterations are allowed to be made to the actual building and we must comply with all historic architectual preservation laws that are in place within the French Quarter. The building itself, being more than 100 years since its build date, has a lot of French Architectual aspects of it, similar to a lot of buildings in the French Quarter. I am glad that you enjoyed our punch and the location of our hotel.
