This was our first time in New Orleans. The Wyndham is conveniently located in the French Quarter. It is around the corner from Bourban Street. You can walk to most places including great restaurants. There are many homeless people in the area and there is a huge police presence. Mario, the concierge, was very helpful. Know that this is a basic no frills hotel. They don’t even have coffee. Our first night I thought the walls were paper thin but then in the morning I realized that the doors were about an inch too short. So any noise in the hall came right into the room.

Great location. Easily can access Canal Street or Bourbon Street. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. I needed to book an extra night after my stay and they went above and beyond to accommodate me. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Very helpful staff. Definitely not the cleanest hotel. I found a hair brush someone had left in my room from a previous visit. The pool is nice enough but could use some tlc. The gym is very tiny. Was a good place with my kids. Easy to walk everywhere. Quiet enough.

The security staff were super pleasant & helpful! The location of the hotel was great! Right in the area of all the attractions! The room was not that great, our bathroom sink was stoped up, the bed was truly uncomfortable I felt the springs all through the mattress. However, like stated the staff & security were very hospitable and helpful!

The hotel is very nice and the staff is great aswell. The problem I had was with the valet. I checked in on 03/07/24 & used valet, I normally park my vehicle myself, but I was told it was valet only. I came to retrieve my vehicle on 03/08/24 with no issues, I returned the vehicle a hour later to the valet. On 03/10/24 I checked out and had the Valet to retrieve my vehicle. When they pulled my vehicle up, it was damaged on the rear side. I reported it to the valet only to be told that my vehicle arrived like this when I checked in. I told them that was untrue and they said they have cameras and would get back to me when they review them, I said ok. They called me 03/20/24 to tell me that the camera shows that the damage was there when I arrived. I asked if I could see the video and was told know. I asked if they could take a screenshot of the video with the time stamp and the damage. They told me no, I had to file a claim with my insurance company because of this incident. Warning to all, don’t park with valet, they damage vehicles and don’t own up to it. I would never go to this hotel again!

Easy walk to areas of interest and restaurants. Comfortable with a view of the Mississippi River. Early check in without asking - impressed. Staff helpful and approachable. Like most hotels you are asked to reuse towels - not a problem. The problem, again like most hotels, there is no place to hang wet towels.

Nice location near Canal and on the west side of the French quarter. Easy walk to Acme Oyster House and Bourbon Street attractions. Area around the hotel can be a little seedy and smell like weed at times - but that's any big city today.

Mr. Ed's Restaurant was convenient and good. Nice walking distance to conference as well as the French Quarter attractions. The staff were helpful and very polite, including the security officers.
