“I reserved a cabin months in advance. When I arrived for check in, I was informed that another group had more people than they reserved for, so the owner gave them my cabin, as well as others. Yeah, she made a reservation at a HOTEL so I had accommodations, but it was NOT comparable to the cabin. She reasoned that “it’s a nice hotel” and she tried to tell me “if it makes you feel any better, it cost more than you paid”. I checked the price on Expedia and a day of reservation at the hotel was……

“Our room was farthest from elevator - 354 steps roundtrip from our car. This is too far for a senior couple. The TV did not work properly. Breakfast was mediocre. Marriott can do better.”

“Nice to have waterslde access. They kept grandsons busy and tired.”

“We liked the location in a residential area with quick access to major roads. We appreciated the wardrobe to store our clothes and bags. The bathroom is small but manageable. (A large person may find the space tight.) There was a friendly cat and free-roaming chickens (no rooster). It was a nice place to stay.”
