Very nice and clean hotelPosted Sep 5, 2015
Pros: Room cleanliness and staff friendliness
Location: This hotel is in the middle of all the nice Chinese restaurants with good food.
We were so impressed with the room which is just like in the pictures posted on the Internet. We ourselves do not like carpet especially nice hotel with nice lobby but the carpet in the room is dirty looking. When we came in the room, we were so happy about the clean parquet floor. Everything in the room is so clean. The staff is very nice. The free breakfast is good, the waiter could make you fresh waffles too. There is no parking but there are couple public parking places nearby . We chose the Prince street parking and prepaid with parkwiz. This parking is not even one block away, it is so nice and the staff is nice also. We came here for US Open tennis, we came every year since 2002 and with our budget, this hotel so far is the nicest, we will come back to this hotel again next year. The only downfall is to go to the tennis center, it is quite difficult even with GPS, but everything around Flushing meadow is difficult to reach anyway. Last year we stayed in holiday inn la guardia, which is easier to go to the tennis center with the free shuttle but we like this hotel better.

Had a weekend stay in the hotel. Was hard to get towels and other toiletries. When I called the front desk, they asked me to come down to get the towels. When went down, the front desk was really reluctant to give the towels. There was three of us in a two double bed room, two adults and a child, but there was only two sets of towels. I told them that there was three of us at checking in and they made a note of it.

Nice and New hotel in Flushing, Reasonable PricePosted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: Clean, New and comfortable
Location: Chinese and Korean Food. Convenient for eating and shopping.
Even only has one elevator, it doesn't reduce my good experience in the hotel. You can ask the staff if you need any appliances because it doesn't have Freezer in the room.

Close to the subwayPosted Jul 12, 2015
Staff members not very friendly; had nonchalant faces when dealing with customers. A smile goes a long way!!!! I also witnessed a customer being harassed for $5 b/c the front desk accused her of stealing a washcloth >.< Both sides were adamant in defending their integrity, but over a washcloth... Seriously? At least have another staff on board to help other customers like me out so I didn't have to watch this uncomfortable scene for 30 minutes before I finally left. One thing it did teach me is to be present when they do room check to make sure everything is there and clarify any missing thing that belongs to the hotel. When I was in the breakfast room heating up food that I had left frozen, the old lady who managed the breakfast room rudely turned off my microwave. She said only 1 minute max and showed me how my tuberware was steaming. Yes, lady, tuberware is steaming, but not the food. She even talked to the Chinese customers about me and gave me rude glances. The Chinese guy I sat next to later told me what she said and was like "she's old; PLZ forgive her." I'm a forgiving person so I did, but yeah, I'm not going back to this hotel. Expensive, cheap, lack of quality, and unpleasant... everything a 0 star hotel that tries to bill itself as a higher class represents.
