    Great Location
Great little place to stay and explore the city. Quiet for being in the middle of all the nightlife.. Comfortable bed. Stay like a local. Great for one person or couple.

Potential for a great place to stay
First off, I have to say Bryan's communication was excellent. He's very friendly and I have no doubt wants to provide an excellent experience for his guests. This place has the potential of a great place to stay. The location is awesome with great restaurants and bars in close walking distance. I felt safe in the neighborhood and the best tacos can be found right below the apartment! The hallway is gritty, but again, this is NYC. I just wish I knew it was on the 4th floor without elevators. I'm pregnant and would have preferred not to walk 4 floors, but luckily my husband was with me and could carry our luggage up the stairs and anything else we were toting around for the day. That being said, the apartment wasn't clean enough. It needs a good top to bottom cleaning. Even the dishes didn't seem well cleaned. We only received two bath towels, which were dingy and stained, and no hand towels for the bathroom. As a woman with long hair, I need two towels when I shower. I looked for extra towels but didn't see any, but honestly if we were staying longer we would have bought our own towels because the ones we were given looked very questionable. I was in town for work, which is over on 5th Ave, and it was an easy commute there and back. Again, this place has amazing potential but it is the quintessential bachelor's pad and it is very evident that a single guy lives here. :) The bed is super comfy and a great size, the location is spot on, and Bryan is super friendly, offers great recommendations and very responsive. With a few tweaks, this place would be my go-to spot (especially once I'm not pregnant ;) as I go to NYC every couple of months.

Nice place in the East village. It had a very comfy bed! Only thing we didn’t like was that it smelt like cigarettes. We don’t smoke so that was extremely hard to get used to for three nights.

    Great location.
The apartment is small without an area to sit in besides the kitchen table. We were out most of the time so it didn’t matter. The bathroom wasn’t clean enough and the shower curtain needed to be changed. Brian took care of it right away. It’s a great place to come back to and go right to sleep after a day of being out seeing the sites. It was a bit of a do it yourself place.
