Rate was a bit high if consider its location.

Posted Nov 23, 2015
Pros: Facility was so so.
Cons: Rate.
Location: Nothing special but near to little Italy which was good.
Overall facility and service were ok. But felt the rate and location didn't match.

OK at best

Posted Nov 12, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff. Non smoking facility.
Cons: Furniture! Walls!
Location: Very close to Little Italy and Soho with nice restaurants and boutiques.
I forgot this joke that every hotel in NYC which is less than $300 is cheap. This hotel proves my observation. VERY outdated. The only thing which seems having been renovated recently is the bathroom.

nice hotel in chinatown and little italy

Posted Nov 2, 2015
Pros: nice staff and good feature
Cons: fan noise and door sealing/room insulation for hallway noise control.
Location: location is good if you want to be in chinatown and little Italy. not too far from subways.
ac/ heating was very noisy and also the door is not sealed so noises from hallway were annoying.

Surprisingly good!

Posted Oct 18, 2015
Pros: The room was very clean and well appointed with a very comfortable bed, large (for NYC) bathroom and an in-room coffee maker.
Cons: Having the lobby of the hotel on the second floor is unusual.
Location: Close to the subway, Chinatown and Little Italy. Easy walk to Ground Zero. Get up early and go to the markets in Chinatown--like another world!
I booked this hotel on the basis of price alone and did not expect much. What a happy surprise to find a very clean, well appointed room, friendly and helpful staff and great coffee at the free breakfast. The hotel is about a block from the subway, at the intersection of Little Italy and Chinatown and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Average hotel in run down area

Posted Oct 12, 2015
Definitely in a run down area in China town. Room was average and small. When we checked in there was hair in the sink. The air conditioner went out and TV lost signal regularly. Hotel staff was friendly though. Next time I would stay in financial district. Much nicer area

Great location!

Posted Oct 10, 2015
Pros: 1. Great location 2. friendly and helpful staff 3. reasonable cost
Cons: Please include microwaves and small fridges in each room, for those of us who need to keep our medicine cold.
Location: Chinatown and Little Italy, including great restaurants and markets, are just across the streets. Subways are also close by.
Ideal location. One side of the street is Chinatown, the other side borders Little Italy. Short walk to the Brooklyn Bridge, 9-11 Memorial, and more! Staff is super friendly. My only regret is that this hotel does not include a microwave or small fridge in its rooms.

Decent hotel for its price

Posted Oct 5, 2015
Located near metro so it was a good location, room was decent-wish they had curtains in the bathroom because the light pours in from the bathroom to the beds, gym level on the elevator doesn't work, they have no parking even though it was listed on Expedia features- the parking is in a different area not owned by Best Western.
