the picture showed has nothing to do with the property. The bed sheet had stains and hair all over it. You should not call this a hotel. It’s a halfway house.

    Just bad quality

If you're on a budget and don't mind staying in a low quality hotel and is not for long time then I will say that the place is ok for that, otherwise I would never recommend to stay there.

Not as Bad as I Thought!

It's not as bad as I thought it would be. I booked a room on the mixed-gender floor, and my room was actually tidy, simple and free of bed bugs. My ceiling had tiles and didn't have the wired grid as others had pointed out. There were questionable smears on the wall, but it didn't bother me as much. However, the room may be cramped for taller individuals. I'm 5'6", and when I lay on bed with my head against the wall, my toes *almost* touched the wall when I point them. The staff service was surprisingly great. The front desk spoke English fluently and let me borrow a roll of tape when I realized that I had lint all over my shirt (I had to look decent for a holiday party). There's a little table in the lobby with overlooking glass, and that's where I ate my takeout. I had a nice view of the bustling streets in Chinatown. As others had said, the walls were thin, and I've heard every conversation... I've heard a couple talking about how they will rob a bank; and someone banged on the door to tell the occupant to get out, and the guy yelled back at him in expletives. What they said and how they behaved can be disturbing, but I wasn't concerned about my safety because the hotel staff was always present. Overall though, this place is great for solo travelers who can tolerate slight messiness. Make sure to bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. I also suggest shower shoes, since bathroom floors can get dirty quickly from being used by everyone on the floor.
