Great hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Within 15 minute walk to Times Square. Lots of activity in area but hotel quiet. Nice view of the Empire State Building. I would stay at this hotel again

Good value for Manhattan

Posted May 31, 2017
Pros: View of the Empire State Building. Proximity to Subway. Free coffee and continental breakfast.
Cons: The lift is a bit weird, it stops and opens regardless of which direction the caller wanted to go in!
Location: Shake Shack in the park Black Barn Tavern has a good happy hour after 9pm Buzz Wines at 6th Av and 27th
We loved staying at this hotel for 5 days in May; brilliantly situated for the subway, and very close to Madison Square Park with many good bars and restaurants. It's probably only the lack of a bar/restaurant that prevents this hotel from being 4 star, and you don't need them as there are loads on your doorstep anyway.

Thanks so much for such a great review. We appreciate you taking the time to share your comments. That is not normal for the elevators and will look into it as we have them come to do maintenance every 2 weeks. We hope to see you back with us in the very near future. Thank you for your business. Have a wonderful day!

Nice hotel near my business partner

Posted May 25, 2017
The hotel is in a very good location for me. The room was surprisingly comfortable, clean and well suite (as much as a room can be in NYC). I will use it again.

Centrally located, very comfortable basic hotel

Posted May 20, 2017
Pros: Free breakfast, comfortable room
Cons: NA
Location: On the R & W subway lines, walking distance to Broadway.
Very close to the R & W subway lines, this hotel provided a basic, but comfortable room. I liked the modern decor. There were bagels, pastry, coffee, juice, and fruit every morning. Staff were very nice. Seems to be a mostly international clientele.

Nice staff, clean hotel, convenient location.

The only concern was breakfast. This wasn't continental. It was bagel with cream cheese served with coffee and orange juice. That's the end of choices. No eggs, no pancakes, no waffles, no bacon, no milk, corn flakes. A little disappointment. Very small space with 4 tables. Gets crowded in no time at all. Again.. the staff is great!!

Hi Marc: Great to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us but disappointed that we did not meet your expectations regarding the continental breakfast. We know the space is very limited but there are trays in each room that you can use to bring the food back to your room with. We could eliminate it completely which was considered but decided to keep it as most guests do appreciate the extra value it offers since there is no cost to them. Not sure exactly why you were expecting the items you listed. An American continental breakfast is exactly what we offer each day and typically consists of coffee, tea, juice, and pastries. Sometimes fruit which we do include in ours. What you are describing is a Full American Breakfast Buffet with all the items you list which are hot items. A continental breakfast does not have any hot items at all except for the coffee and tea. We appreciate you taking the time to share your comments and thank you for your business. We hope to see you again. Have a nice day.

love it !

the hotel has such a great location right on broadway, and I got it last minute with $100 bucks, comparing with the f**** up Chelsea International Hostel, this hotel was so amazing, huge room, big bed, huge bath room, clean and nice, you will have the working desk,TV, iron table, safe, hair dryer. it's good for every type of traveling. If I can get this price again, I will definitely stay there again. Such a humble but great hotel in Manhattan!

Great Hotel in the Heart of Manhattan

Posted Apr 13, 2017
Pros: everything!
Location: In the heart of Manhattan, close to subway stops and easy walking distance to Madison Square Garden even after a blizzard!!
We really loved our time at the Broadway Plaza. Friendly staff from hotel manager to cleaners. All were helpful and made sure they greeted us with a smile or had a quick chat as we walked out for the day. Loved the fantastic complimentary continental breakfast each morning. It was a great way to start the day. Thank you for a great start to our USA adventure

Good location, Clean

Posted Apr 12, 2017
Pros: Rooms with two queen beds. Staff very helpful.
Cons: Lobby is small.
Location: Tryout Eatily for a great Italian market and eats nearby.
Can't beat the location. Away from the business of Times Square but close enough to walk there or take 2 subway stops Uptown on the R line. Car horns in the middle of the night but hey... it's New York. Eleventh floor room 1101 gave a great Empire State Building. Request the view ahead of time. One of the few properties I found offering two queen beds. Great for a family of four in a reasonably priced room.
